Cruise Girly 88

We would like to walk around the port in cozumel and then head to the beach with our 22 month old. I’ve seen many great reviews for Paradise beach and Playa Mia. Any recommendations? Did you like one over the other?

For my father's retirement "party" they are planning a family cruise to Alaska July 2024. In looking at the excursions, they are insanely expensive (kids are the same price as adults!) and everyone looks cold lol. Has anyone taken younger children on an Alaskan cruise? Yay or Nay? We have time to decide, but I'm completely on the fence on this one.

For those of you who have taken younger children on excursions, did you bring a car seat with you? I called my cruise line to ask if we needed one for the shuttle bus (its a cruise line provided excursion) and they couldn't answer my question. Did you bring one with you or just held the child on your lap?
