  1. I get where your going with this. I have not forgot about a booked cruise, but I have had so many cancels/rebooks, that I HAVE forgot which ship I'm booked on!! I could have sworn I was due to sail on Magic in September and I'm actually booked on Sunrise. Fingers crossed she sails.

  3. Regarding "temperature checks", just want to let everyone know that you are actually "therma scanned". You don't even know it's happening. You walk past a computer terminal and snap! Your temperature has been taken. These "therma scan" areas have been set up all over hospitals, airports, some hotels, and most casinos. I would think they would have them on cruises? They were not a problem on my last land vacation.

  8. Why are you disputing the charge? Was it placed fraudulantly? Credit card disputes are meant to be for fraud, not to settle the personal (civil) disputes you have with a company. Citi has nothing to do with the fact that NCL won't issue you a refund. I'm sorry, but I work for a credit card company, and way too many people "dispute" charges, thinking we will just credit your card back. We do not issue refunds for charges that were placed by you, the consumer, unless it was placed by way of fraud. Your battle is with NCL, and they like all other cruiselines are struggling. I suggest
  9. Wherever possible, staff is serving guests at food stations, including the Lido buffet and ice cream machines. Where not possible due to layout restrictions or other locations such as condiment set-ups and salsa bars, dedicated personnel are posted to monitor these stations and service and ensure they are cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner. In any self-service areas that remain, serving utensils are replaced on a more frequent basis. From Carnival's website....

  11. Children pay the same fare as adults because they take up a "space". The max. capacity on a ship is what it is, regardless of age they are considered a person. So, in other words, your g.kids would be taking the "space" of an otherwise full fare paying adult. Look out for discounts, promotions, etc... Hope this helps.
