  1. What did they do to earn that honor?
  2. That's what cruising is for. Once you get off the ship, low chances you'll run into the person again. Unless your @TxTeach79.
  3. Vodka cranberry is my go to at unfamiliar bars. Hope this cruise is everything you want it to be and more!
  4. You should know better than to read anything by Willdra when you are supposed to not laugh out loud. 😆😆🤷‍♀️
  5. Lol. My brand new one arrived yesterday. It has a flashlight too!
  6. Something tells me you're not exactly disappointed to have an extra sea day to relax at this point. Also, you might need to send B to the spa for a wrap to help the burn. I think she deserves some pampering at the moment. Right, @HelloItsMeB?
  7. Yes. That's where all if my OBC went, actually.
  8. I think I prefer this treatment. We just get "yelled" at until we give in and give ours a peace offering, in the form of tuna water.
  9. Go. You can sleep on the plane to Australia. I believe you have a spa pass for the Splendor. A few days enjoying that, and you'll feel better. You don't have to run and do everything when you get there. It's okay to sit back, relax and just enjoy the scenery. As for Covid, you should be good for a couple months, at least.
  10. Okay, I have a new item on my travel wish list.
  11. You'd think they make them buy seats for the kids. Stuffing them in the overhead might make the flight more pleasant though.
  12. I actually got an apology out of Carnival for the fiasco from that cruise.
  13. You can arrive early, but if you are sailing on the Panorama, then you'll get the sheet to park elsewhere. But if you are early, you may beat the back-up.
  14. You could. They charge $30/night. At thise prices, I'd do the Maya. You can walk from there or their shuttle driver gets into the port the back way, making it a quick ride.
  15. Offsite parking is badly organized, not at all mobile friendly. You HAVE to drive into the port to get the paper that allows you to park at the offsite garage. There are three garages in the same area. You could get sent to any of them. Took us over an hour to get into port the first time. We were at 2 hours beginning to end for drop off. When we debarked, it was a true cluster. We avoided half of it by using a porter that got us to the right bus area. The bus driver got lost going back to the garage. It was a mess. Tempers were short. People got their panties in a twist. I may have run over a few toes because there wasn't enough room to get a suit case away from bus otherwise. My advice, find a park and cruise hotel. If you find a hotel with parking but no shuttle, have the Uber drop you off the Queen Mary. Using the current off site may result in the need for bail money. But it might be better by August.
  16. That's actually not a terrible price for a good burger. I just realized, I've seen you eat all sorts of food, but never sushi.
  17. Really? I would have thought a middle school teacher would have heard that before. 😆😆
