  1. I would think that is appropriate as prices are skyrocketing everywhere and the difference is so small as not to affect most of us. Thanks for posting.
  2. Like many things the protocols have evolved. In March/April when I tested Positive - Most were moved to an inside cabin and removed from the ship at the end of the cruise. The next cruise was cancelled and you were walked off the ship with a ghost buster squad spraying disenfectant. September of this year on Summit. Those that tested positive were quarantined in original room. If spouse was negative they were offered to either stay in isolation original room or an inside cabin close by. As soon as you tested negative you were released from your isolation. If on a B2B you could continue to the next cruise. If you were not on a B2B and you were still in isolation you could choose to stay aboard for the next cruise (probably moved to an inside as someone else probably has your room booked) and could stay on the cruise until you tested negative and they they would disembark you at the next port and assist you with reservation at your expense to return home.
  3. Our experience is that if you give laundry to them before 10:00 AM you will get it back the next day. If you leave it out in the evening it will come back the second day.
  4. If you don't have one just ask. We had one on all of our sailing on Silhouette - both on the inbound TA and cruise from Southampton.
  5. Download the Celebrity App. Select a current sailing with a similar itinerary. Go to Daily Planner - at top right change filter from Suggested to All.
  6. We did the Celebrity Tour that included the Lobster Lunch. The bus had a sign on it "Charlottetown Islanders - Coach Atlantic Group, Dupee, New Brunswick"
  7. They use a very study crust (not flaky) and they seem to hold up for at least a day or 2. I usually pick up 4 and they last us 2 days.
  8. Personally I would say the cruises we have been on since resumption were different but can't say I was put off by anything. Early cruises with less than 50% occupancy were definitely different. The staff were more relaxed and had time chatting with you at dinner and other locations. Recent cruises have had some shortages and staffing issues but I can say many of my favorite products just aren't available or the size has shrunk by 50% and the prices remain the same. I definitely have increased the number of bookings we have and I expect things both in our local markets and stores as well as cruise line to gradually return to better times.
  9. I'm also a fan of the App. On our last set of cruises I noticed they just piled up on the desk and I never looked at them. They just ended up in the wastebasket.
  10. You can also try to manually enter. All you need is Reservation Number and Name. Sometimes mine don't show up and I just click add missing cruise. As others said sometimes it takes a day or two to show.
  11. Prices are defiantly up across the board. To me it makes sense when I consider that the highest margin cost items for cruise ships is Fuel, Food and Staff. I think we are also noticing these same items affecting land base restaurants, airlines hotels. I had sticker shock last week when we went out to dinner. Prices are up about 30%.
  12. I do have to say I love those Tarts. On Summit they made them with Meringue on top (my least favorite) most of the ships have one little chocolate ball on top.
  13. We have done it also. It is well done and the meal ok. Like @Northern Aurora one and done.
  14. Thanks. I"m sure they are all in much need of a long earned vacation. Thanks again Gerry.
  15. Feel the same. Hope to see you aboard. We are on the first two cruises in December.
  16. Thanks for taking the time to answer. Happy to hear you had a wonderful cruise and looking forward to getting my turn on board.. - Millennium was the first ship we ever cruised in 2001 and I still have a fond place in my heart for her.
  17. Depends on how much you had to drink. At least my new Iphone has it right on the screen
  18. I agree. Remember when they were the least expensive cruises because they were considered a "Re-Positioning Cruise". Party Line ---- TA's are terrible and Caribbean Cruises are so exciting and so much fun.
  19. Cafe al Bacio is the Coffee and Tea Area generally Deck 5 on M-Class and S-Class. This is also where you get the Almond Croissants
  20. I figured there were many in the hardest hit areas that have not been able to get online. The boards have really been quiet for the last week, making me thing that many of our CC members may be in the affected area and may not yet have power and internet. I got a call from some friends we met recently who live about 35 miles to the South and escaped any damage but didn't have water for a day and still don't have power. She wanted to let us know she was ok and kidded us about Ian (different spelling) came blowing through. We were relieved they were ok.
  21. Good to hear it came through. I also had to call the engagement center to get it moving.
  22. I've talked to many of the Maitr' D and it isn't them holding back. They don't have access to the reservation system until 24 hours before the cruise begins. Doing a B2B in a RS I have tried to book for first night and was told he would take my name and once the system was available would try to get my preferred time. As a matter of fact I found that to be the same for shore excursions.
  23. So happy to hear that you are ok and escaped any major harm. Our thoughts have been with all of you that have been affected. It is so sad to see how hard hit some of the area have suffered. I'm sure it makes you so thankful that you were spared such total destruction.
  24. Yes if you cancel it will go back to original form of payment. NR OBC to NR OBC and Credit Card to Credit card. I accidentally hit the wrong button last weekend and an excursion was charge to my credit card instead of NR OBC I cancelled and saw my refund in 3 days.
