  1. Celebrity Edge should be able to dock ,plenty of other ships that size have.
  2. https://www.portauthoritynsw.com.au/port-of-eden/port-services-facilities/eden-cruise-schedule/
  3. Surely it would have to be finish by then ,unless it’s being canned like a lot of other things around the state. Are there any rhinoceros beetles down around there? Maybe a medical evacuation?
  4. I think another thing people should think about is a small new ship would have to run of LNG LNG storage takes a lot of space and would a smaller ship be economical in passenger to space capacity terms.
  5. It looks like star link will be in full swing next season. There was a few legal issues. https://www.dailypost.vu/news/starlink-registers-trademark-in-vanuatu/article_af7b4142-c229-5600-8b50-fafd2663bbde.html
  6. There’s a Las Vegas style show called Live love legs and another called the beautiful dream. But the show in 270 that was Pixals was was was definitely worth going to.
  7. It’s definitely worth seeing,be down stairs as the cast walks around. It used to be called Pixals but it’s now down graded to specta with no over head .
  8. He shouldn’t get upset ,because it’s an existing operation. He should be happy about not having those container trucks running that heap of junk of the road.
  9. I think the container terminal will be the likely option. Move some of the containers to Newcastle and Kembla. Get some of those trucks off Sydney roads.
  10. One of those big cans of Fosters in the middle of the night would quench the desire.
  11. that’s a good idea, some days you don’t feel like a drink then others days you make up for it .
  12. Thanks uncle Les but did they sell the day pass ? Im not really up on the Myki but I think that’s the best option for a visitor.
  13. Does anyone know if you can buy the Myki explorer card near station cruise terminal?
  14. In theory they match or reduce the fare up onto you make the final full payment. Once they have your money they give you an onboard credit for the difference. I find it complicated when they change things and don’t tell anyone. You can’t use OBC before the cruise in your cruise planner ,you can’t cash it out once onboard and if you don’t use it you loose it. That’s part of the fun with Royal Caribbean, getting short changed and trying to work out how they did it . LOL
  15. I thought you where die hard Celebrity Rassa
  16. I don’t know for sure but over on the blog they are saying so.
  17. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/General_Info/BEST_PRICE_GUARANTEE/MK09015983a_BEST_PRICE_GUARANTEE.pdf
  18. I presume it’s Royal Caribbean you are thinking of booking with? If you are worried about the price going down, they have a price drop guarantee.
  19. A interesting thought there mr Porter . It would be a bit exposed to ocean swells but a sea wall would solve that problem.
  20. Oh ,we do agree on something LOL 7 nights in a hotel would be a bit tedious and some of the rooms like Four Seasons are small. The Langham hasn’t go very good transport options. The Raddison blu does supposed to have large rooms from what I’ve heard and some decent transport options. Have you tried Skye apartments Cheryl? Not many on this forum seem to know about it . A couple of blocks from Barangaroo,QVB and Wynyard train ,they use to have breakfast included in an adjoining cafe or you can cook your own. No view but nice location.
  21. 7 nights is to long to stay in a hotel room and in my opinion in Sydney. If you were to stay the whole 7 nights ,a serviced apartment would be better. They are cross between a hotel and a home .They have a kitchen, lounge ect . There’s a few but check out Merton. https://www.meritonsuites.com.au/our-hotels/nsw/ Skye suites https://skyesydney.com.au/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIybT2qPid_wIVX5NmAh0agg_GEAAYASAAEgJQ4vD_BwE
  22. I think the main reason the navy wants to stay is for the good supply of trades and maintenance companies. A regional town has a limited pool of maintenance. Unless the labour government wants to put something on the eastern side of Garden Island, it’s Port Botany.
