Traveling with a party of 6, all of us are vaccinated except for my 9 year old son. Stopping in Key West, Half Moon Cay, Freeport, Nassau
A couple of Questions:
I am aware there are no restrictions for Half Moon Cay for under 12 getting off ship and being restricted. Is anyone aware of the restrictions for Key West? I assume there are none since it is the US? Also there are no bubble tours offered in Freeport and only one in Nassau. The Bahamas has exceptions for under 12 in their latest order and if that means they are allowing under 12 off with no restrictions?
Thank you for the help.

Got the Call. Prerecorded from Carnival stating my cruise leaving tomorrow was cancelled. Said we would be getting an email. No email yet. I could have sworn it said they were suspending operation till April 9th.

We were in a virtual balcony cabin on Anthem. The TV did not swivel but if you pulled hard enough on one side it had a hinge that allowed you to access the ports. Just need a universal remote to change inputs as there are no on TV buttons.

Gty for us on Ovation June 28th was assigned on May 28th.

I noticed they aren't doing The Quest. This is my first Alaska cruise with RCCL so not sure if they just don't do it for Alaska sailings.

Been out of Port Everglades three times in the last two years. We always did self assist and were in line to get off the ship between 6 - 6:30. We were always at airport NLT 7:45. 9:45 is safe if you do self assist.

I am on June 28th sailing. Northstar opened up for one day on May 25th and was gone that day. I fly opened up May 28th for about 12 hours and then was gone. I always have had success using Royal App and making reservation as you are boarding for items not available on the cruise planner. Just need to make sure you arrive early.

When are you sailing
June 28th Ovation
On a side note I have been able to buy the drink package just for myself while on board. You will not get a discount and it will save you about 50 bucks assuming you would have to buy a drink package and refreshment package at 30 percent off before the cruise.

Why don't you try that and then report the results here?
I can confirm you can cancel the refreshment package and still have one confirmed deluxe package in the cabin. I am not sure though if it will be caught before sailing.

We took the cruise line transportation there and got a cab (about 20 bucks to go back when we wanted). If I did it over I would just buy tickets direct and take a cab there and back and be on my own time and not waste 30 mins waiting in line before the excursion.

They other weird quirk is fresh fruit for drinks will not be available either.

Thinking out loud here. I usually buy the refreshment package online for my wife. I then call and purchase the deluxe package for myself. Since I already have the refreshment package purchased they usually do not even say anything and go ahead and take my payment and I am done. What prevents me from just going back online and cancelling the refreshment package? I haven't done this because my wife wants the refreshment package. Just wondering what would happen.

$42 On Harmony for March 2019 Sailing. It stayed at $45 for most of the year and then dropped $3 during a promotion.

On a side note, they wont serve fresh fruit in drinks either. I was a bit perplexed when a bar tender told me they couldn't serve limes.

We sail with the kids two to three times a year on RCCL. We will experience it being full average one time on a cruise always at night. Usually just wait and should clear up. We sailed on Thanksgiving this year on the Liberty. 1700 kids and we were turned away at Voyagers just once.

My wife and I returned on Sunday from the Liberty of the Seas. We both are pretty strict Keto followers. I did not follow a Keto diet while I was cruising, but my wife stayed true and was able to do so pretty easy (she has a lot of will power) with some help at dinner. On the first night she explained to our waiter her restrictions. That night my wife just ordered a steak, Cesar salad (romaine was still available), and broccoli. Later on in dinner the head waiter "Tony Bennett" came over and inquired about her menu preferences. My wife asked if they could make anything with coconut flour and was able to request some special meals including coconut flour chicken with and Alfredo sauce that contained only cream, cheese, and butter (which was delicious) and other variations. She would have steak and broccoli some nights but if they had the ingredients they worked with her very well. The chef actually came out one night and you can see he was genuinely excited he got to cook something special for a guest. We didn't do anything on deserts as my wife did a lot of baking before leaving so she was covered. All in all, 5 stars to the staff on the Liberty for accommodating my wife. Breakfast and Lunch at the WJ was pretty easy since there are plenty of options, especially breakfast since bacon is plentiful!!!

Yes Park Cafe has the same machines as Cafe Promenade.

You may need to bring a universal remote and program it to the TV depending on what ship you are on. The newer TVs don't have any buttons and you wont be able to change the input on the cabin remote.

We booked Ovation for June on Saturday. Same thing, no discount for that particular sailing, but worked on others I looked at for Harmony. Maybe it is an Alaska thing.Ovation on 7/26/19Cat 3D

They’re telling me that the “Fall” promotion is not compatible with the Crown & Anchor discount. I have always gotten both a promo plus C & A. Have I just gotten lucky.....or did this agent just try to pull a fast one?

we will be going on the anthem departing July 12[in 9 days]does anyone know how many formal nights there are?
Two and on the June 14th sailing they were on day 2 and 7. With day 7 being the night they served lobster.

They are most likely housekeeping storage and crew staircases.

My problem with the RCCL site has been you don't get options for actual categories (i.e 1V, 1T, 6D, etc.) just general categories, i.e. inside, inside virtual balcony, balcony, balcony obstructed, etc. and within the categories there could be multiple sub categories that RCCL doesn't give you an option for. They will just show you what they want to sell you. I always have to use a third party site to see all the categories since there could be a big difference in prices between a 8D balcony and a 6D balcony. I would look at what category you are booked in and go to a third party site and see the difference. You may also find the category that may be the big cost difference and ask to be changed to that category which may mean a less desirable location.

Also, its always good to recheck pricing from time to time. I booked during the last KSF promotion in late may. Today with the new promotions sales plus KSF I saved $551 with the same perks for a March Harmony sailing. They must not be selling cabins.
Vaccination card
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Is just the card required or do I also need the digital certificate. The website is not clear if it is both or one or the other?
Proof of vaccination, as follows, will be required at the terminal in advance of boarding:
