  1. We just signed up for a Greece cruise with airfare included. I'm a bit nervous about the air arrangements because NCL notifies us 72 hours prior to sailing. I have no idea of the airline(s), layovers and time to get to the next gate. Can you share your experience with NCL and airfare included? I need to know the "Good, Bad & Ugly" before I commit to this. Thinking of checking other cruise lines...... Thanks!
  2. Hello Fellow Cruisers, When the ship docks at the Valencia Cruise Port, where do excursion buses and private drivers meet you? Looking at a photo, it looks like a hike to get to and through the terminal. Thanks in advance!
  3. I agree. Looked at the menu. I am an Escargot and Beef Tenderloin (rare) woman! I bet they have a great wine selection too! Btw, my husband's name is Paul too. We love Specialty Diinners starting off w a chilled Grey Goose Martini w bleu cheese olives, a bottle of wine w entree, decadent dessert, cappuccino (Paul likes espreeso w Zambuca) and a nice sipping liqueur to round off a wonderful dining experience. We are usually the last ones in the dining room!
  4. I thought there was a Dress Code? Menu looks delish. Definitely looking into a Specialty Dining Package.
  5. Even though I am reading this on July 1, I am so disappointed at the behavior of the guide, the no sitting in cable car, the crowds and the local being so verbally aggressive. I am three months out rehabbing from a hip replacement. Working my butt off with pt and three hours aerobic aqua classes to get strong for the hills and stairs of Santorini. Please tell me there is an upside besides the beautiful scenery 🤔
  6. YES! I spent five hours yesterday pouring over your Carnival Pride Span/Portugal sailing. Great photos and info!
  7. Thanks. Still reading. Montinegro is your next port. This is addicting. I had to cut myself off to read later! Lol
  8. Correction: Our cruise is October 2025! NCL excursions aren't posted yet. We're sailing a 14-Day TA Spain and Portugal w X in November.
  9. I am just discovering your outstanding LIVE posts. My DH and I are sailing this itinerary in November, so I am absorbing and taking notes. Was this excursion with NCL or another company? Also, your photos are outstanding! You are a man of many skill sets: writing, photography, travel guide, foodie, and beverage aficionado!
  10. I'm just catching up on this thread....Whew! Thank you for posting the phone number. I just called and spoke with Diana. Unfortunately, there is a good chance we will have those small new chairs on our concierge balcony. I knew we wouldn't have a lounger but I was planning on this high back chair (bringing our own foot rests). She supposedly will call me back but said we could ask our room stward to switch out the chairs if there was any available. Haha...doubt that! Where are those Ninja Suits? If caught, just worried we'll be banned from the Martini Bar! 😁
  11. My husband wants to take advantage of Celebrity's sale in 2025 8-day roundtrip Athens. I would like to connect a cruise to Sicily or Venice. I tried using Cruise Mapper to track itineraries of cruiselines. Is there an easier way? This is getting overwhelming!
  12. Thank you! I didn't see listed but is Expresso and Cappuccino qualify under premium coffee?
  13. Wine: If I buy the bottle for dinner, do they still cork it for the following night?
  14. I just had this discussion with my agent yesterday. Thankfully, he put a courtesy hold prior to the Black Friday 75% off. He called Celebrity and found out they raided the base price and then applied the 75% off 2nd guest. I am saving $300 staying with Courtesy Hold price. I just paid down payment.
  15. I am trying to view the decks on the Constellation to see the available cabins. I was looking at the Concierge Class but they select the cabin for you. Is there another way to navigate the system?
  16. I have read many reviews about MSC.....not good. NCL embarks at Le Havre:
  17. I will search for the embarkation in Le Havre (arrive a few days early to visit Normandy & Paris) or disembark in Le Havre.
  18. I did that. Using Cruise Mapper, I can select cruise ship itineraries and individual ports. Info was not accurate. I'm just going to wait for the official info from RCL. I failed to be specific in my original post. I was very interested in Serenade of the Seas. July 10, 2024 sailing from Barcelona. 16 night Spain and Europe which included Le Havre for two days. This sailing is part of the World Sailing segment. Amazing itinerary! Unfortunately, I just received news from my doctor that I need a hip replacement and the July date would be unrealistic to be travel ready. Le Havre two-day was perfect for my husband to visit the Beaches of Normandy and we can enjoy Paris the next day. Valencia is my genealogy of my grandmother's birth place. RCL said it would not be repeating this cruise for 2025. I'm crushed. I am now researching a similar size ship (not 4,000+) and piece together an itinerary that includes a 2-day Le Havre and Spain.
  19. Thank you all for info. I received the answer from one poster that the European sailings will be available tmrw (11/8). I read all 900+ posts 🙄on link provided even though way too much info than I requested. Interesting question: How did poster know these 2025 sailings on individual ships? I checked the individual ports and the itineraries of each ship. These sailings were not noted.
