Hi, as far as I am aware there were no shuttles or transportation to Venice. We did a land stay before the cruise and travelled from Venice on the day of the cruise. This took us about three hours by car.

We returned from a Cruise on Constellation 10 days ago. We were in Aqua Class so dined every night in Blu. The food on the whole was excellent. We used the buffet for lunches. We mostly had salads but there was a fantastic choice of foods available everything from freshly carved roast meats to vegan choices. With regard to service, compared to pre pandemic times in my opinion there did seem to be less staff. Everyone was working hard but there didn't seem enough of them. This was noticeable especially at the outside bars and in Cellar Masters. Also there was only one sommelier working in Blu. On the whole we had a lovely cruise and would gladly do it all again. 😊

We didn't use the shuttle in Ravenna, we had been to Lake Como and Venice prior to the cruise, so we just spent the day relaxing on the lovely beach right next to the ship. We did use the ship's shuttles at other ports on the cruise and they were all complementary, just turned up when we were ready to go, no booking required.

Hi, I have just checked back on the Celebrity Today information sheet, there is no mention of a shuttle on embarkation day but there was a shuttle the next day between 8am and 3.30 pm.

Hi, we boarded at around 1230, not sure what time the first boarding was but others were already on board. We had a wonderful cruise and I am sure you will have a great time. I would suggest you research how many ships and their passenger numbers are in ports with you and plan your time ashore accordingly. For example when we were in Santorini we were with 4 other ships of a similar size and then Oasis of the Seas arrived at midday with another 6900 passengers. The queue for the cable car was horrendous.

Hi, we have just returned from a cruise on Celebrity Constellation yesterday. We overnighted in Ravenna and can confirm that once checked in we could come and go all night if we pleased, just needed to be back half an hour before sail away.

Thank you all for your replies. We will take our shoes and see what happens. Rest assured we are 'social' dancer's and don't want to perform a Strictly Come Dancing routine. Hope to meet some like minded dancers on board.

Hi, we are shortly going on a Celebrity Constellation Cruise and wondering if we should pack our dance shoes or not. We haven't been on Celebrity for a while.
