Don't buy on board if you can help it. Way cheaper anywhere else. They don't take up much room

I'd imagine adults only would imply 18+What age limit would you have? Our son is 12 and we certainly expect him to sit quietly when we eat (and he doesn’t let us down).I did take him to Le Bistro last cruise, as my wife isn’t a fan. The staff seemed quite surprised to see someone his age there. They said they get very few kids there, and I don’t recall seeing many in the past. In fact, I wouldn’t say I recall seeing many kids in the speciality restaurants at all. More often than not there are none (or just one if we have taken our son).
I’m not particularly disagreeing with you, by the way, just not sure how much of an issue this is. Maybe it’s more a location thing (we tend to cruise in Europe mostly).

Was just on the Dream out of New Orleans last week. They were not at all enforcing check in times. Saw many 1:30pm and beyond check in times at 11:30am.
That said, it wasn't really an issue. Like I said, we got there at 11:30am. We were in the boat by noon.

Funny you should say that....Just lots of inconsiderate people with NO manners.Sent from my Pixel using Forums mobile app

Don't know what to tell youReally? Well then I guess cabin number 7456 was the only one that had that issue and even the RS confirmed it.And yes they work with the lights off, just not when the card is removed from the slot.

My apologies. I thought this was the Carnival forum.Did you ever think that maybe different cruise lines have different companies that they use for the devices, therefore, they might not all be the same? Or they may have them configured differently? The ones we had on Celebrity DID work to charge your things without the card from what I remember. Carnival does NOT. More specifically the Vista does NOT. If they did then I wouldn't have found out the hard way and my Room Steward certainly wouldn't have lied to my face when he confirmed it. No incorrect info here, Bub.And the outlets on the Vista most certainly worked with the lights off. I spent three straight weeks on her and had no problem charging items at night.

So it seems you had the new dining room breakfast menu, what about the deli? New as well? Think I read somewhere here that it is the new menu in the Dream Class.

Guessing user error is the cause here. Not true. When I sailed the NCL Getaway, I had to have a card (any card. I used an old sail card from a previous cruise) in the slot to be able to have ANY power in the cabin, to charge my phone. The whole point of the card in slot devices is to save on power when nobody is in cabin.Sent from my Pixel using Forums mobile app

The outlets still work. Anyone who tells you different is providing incorrect information.so many differing opinions and some facts on whether the outlets stay powered when the lights are off. All I can say is I'd sleep with the lights on if that was necessary to keep my CPAP working while I sleep. It doesn't make sense, not that that is a good reason.Sent from my Pixel using Forums mobile app

They mention invectives in the first sentence. Also if you move your reservation from PVP to TA all communications have to go through TA, Carnival will no longer help.Unless TA gives you $$$ OBC or other perks, why add a 3rd wheel?

Yes you can. I believe you have a window of time where you can transfer the booking. Your TA should be able to help you out.

That doesn't come anywhere close to meeting the legal definition of neglect. The grandmother should also be charged with neglect for letting a girl with the mental capacity of a 12 year old into the hot tub without direct supervision.Sent from my Pixel using Forums mobile app

Do a ship excursion.
Don't listen to this advise OP. You can do a bit of research and get a much better value.

WE throw ours away.
You seem to do the same thing with most of your posts here.

We have never bought Cheers and never plan on doing it. I always try different drinks and if I don't like them, they always make me another one and they never charge me for it. I have sent a drink back 3 times because it was not made to my liking and ended up with 3 free ones while only paying for 1. We never keep track of how much we are drinking and have never spent over what it would cost if we got Cheers. We also do not drink coffee, soda, milkshakes etc. Last cruise was a 5 day and we only spent $249 between the both of us on liquor, and we drank generously--we also got a few free drinks from the bartenders (as we tip very generously). You would be surprised what a smile and a wink will do for you.
You clearly keep track of your drinking if you can spout off your total bar tab.

Why book a gyt??????????????
They are asking a question. Do you have anything constructive or helpful to add? Or are you just trying to pad your post count?

They are both bad.
Another quality comment. Gotta get that count up!

There is no cruise line that will have 100% positive feedback. Best you can of is read the information that is already readily available and make an informed decision.

no.. its just a very large number to make it seem like you are getting more than you are. marketing ploy. there is no $50 drink that anyone has posted yet
While true, there are some drinks in the upper teens (thing Grey Good XV, Hennessy XO, etc..) which make it rather easy to get a great value out of cheers
