Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. It clearly says in the FAQ's The new pricing for the Classic, Premium, & Zero Proof (Premium Non-Alcoholic) Drink Packages takes effect on December 19, 2022 for pre-cruise purchases. New pricing onboard takes place on the dates below. This price increase will not be added to those guests/groups that purchased Classic, Premium, & Zero Proof (Premium Non-Alcoholic) Drink Packages before December 19, 2022.  If there was no intention to "increase prices" why would it say this?
  2. Still no insight as to what the new pricing will be? Guess we might have to wait until tomorrow!
  3. Apparently it does make a difference. I had filled mines in and checked of one boxes that applied to HBP. It then said my test was free. I completed the one for my wife and didn't check any off. It then said she would be charged $128.00. I went back in and edited it after asking her if anything applied. The only one she could check off was the compromised immunity, which she had been told that she had by her doctor. After checking that off, there was no charge. I think most people on these things tend to just not check anything off, thinking they will ask more info on it but they do not.
  4. We did ours at Walgreens a few weeks ago. Our insurance info was provided and we did not get charged. However, you have to pay attention to the questions they ask on the Walgreens page when submitting your appointment info. There is a section it asks about your health, such as High Blood Pressure, Obesity, Smoking, Compromised immune system etc. If you check NO to any of these then you will get charged the $128.00. If you genuinely have symptoms as diagnosed by a health worker, then certainly check that off. This changes whether you get charged or not.
  5. My planner is confusing as well. Being Elite, we should get 15% with the new pricing. We are on a cruise rate only with nothing included. Premium Package offer in the planner is showing regular price of $84 with a discount of 9% so we can purchase in advance for $69. Where does the 15% figure in. Is it off the $84 or the $69? The Classic non-alcoholic package is already showing a 17% discount, so where would the 15% benefit be on that one. Confusing numbers here. If anyone has purchased recently, please update. Thanks.
  6. It is indeed pricey! on top of the cruise price, we had the Premium Drinks package! I guess our Martini consumption numbed the pain of what we paid for the cruise!!😂 It wore off quickly though...... we booked again for next year as well!! Great lineup and a great onboard crowd from all over the world. It certainly is an experience worth paying for at the end of the day.
  7. I agree about the cost. The overall experience is well worth it though, if you go on one of these charter cruises. It seems a lot of money, but for the experience of being around music legends for example, you can't put a cost on it. All of these types of cruises, in our case - music themed ones, it was great just walking around the ship and bumping into musical geniuses from bygone days, who all took the time to stop and chat. Well worth it.
  8. Our experience with these charters on Celebrity is that no drinks are included, not even for Elite members. They will offer you the usual drinks package, which is purchased through Celebrity. One thing we did notice is that we were able to use the 90 minute free internet minutes that we usually get as Elite. Everything else that we normally get under Captains Club program was a no go. We just recently did the Ultimate Disco Cruise which was a private charter on Celebrity.
