  1. We sailed on the revolutionized Millie in Sept 2019 from Vancouver - Tokyo. We really enjoyed the size of the ship with the 3 banks of elevators. Also enjoyed the T-pool in the cooler weather but if the weather is hot, then that area is too hot for us to relax in. I enjoy the Solarium pool on the S class ships better. I’ve also recently sailed on the Edge in early Feb and I do prefer the S class and M class ships over the Edge. We also really enjoyed the buffet on the Millie. Beautifully done with lots of seating and long sinks for hand washing. Lots of great areas to sit and relax on the Millie.
  2. Friends of mine were booked for a June 16 cruise and cancelled with their TA in March when virus started coming out. They received the credit at that time for their cruise. Now that the cruise is cancelled, can they change the credit to a refund?
  3. The webcam just did a close up of those so called flashing lights at the pier. I think it is reflections off of the cars and trucks there. Take a look at the next close up.
  4. Costco should never have allowed 300 people in at one time. They are only allowing 50 at a time here. Everyone has to keep their distance with this virus.
  5. I would take the cash refund. Since Celebrity has so many cancellations now, they should change the booking window until 2022 for the credits like NCL.
  6. I’ve done two HNL - YVR cruises and would definitely recommend. We usually spend a week prior in Waikiki. You don’t need a car and can walk everywhere in Waikiki. You do have 5 days at sea and the weather can be a bit unpredictable but we loved it. Would highly recommend.
  7. Love the Millie...all refurbished so you will definitely enjoy your 2nt getaway. Have a wonderful cruise....
  8. Just saw the Millennium this morning cruising by as I was at the pool. She was in Lahaina yesterday so I assume she’s now heading out to sea.
  9. We’re on vacation in Waikiki and noticed the Millie was docked here. We can see it from our balcony. Are any passengers getting on here?? Just wondering what’s the scoop on this?
  10. I’ve done two cruises from HNL to Vancouver on the Solstice in 2017 and 2019 and we never had any issues with the food quality. The food was excellent in the MDR and the Oceanview cafe.
  11. I was on the Millie in Sept and also have a CPAP machine. There is an outlet on one side of the bed. It’s on the right side of the bed if you are looking at the bed. I sleep on the left so my cabin steward ran the cord under the bed and up to the plug. I appreciated that. Usually they just give you the extension cord. Be sure to request the distilled water and cord in advance.
  12. I have worn Capri leggings with a long top and have dressed it up with jewellery. Also have worn a casual dress and have felt very comfortable on the chic nights.
  13. I was in a 2A Verandah in Sept on the Millie and we had a shower door. The rooms are beautifully refurbished. You’ll enjoy the ship.
  14. Regarding Charlie’s Taxi, you don’t have to pay in advance. You can just reserve it online and they will accept a credit card or cash as payment when they drop you at the hotel. Check out their website.
  15. Great review. We’re sailing on Feb 9th on your itinerary. I hope the weather is better though as I have someone travelling with me who has never cruised before. We have the 6 pm dining slot as we are still waitlisted for Select Dining. It looks like we could dine at a different time like you did. Was the second show at 9:30pm in the Theatre?
