  1. This is our Chef's Table two years ago on Adventure. No formal just nice.
  2. Holy crap! What a story. I'm glad you are ok. Thank goodness you were around people who cared for you. So happy you had a great trip.
  3. The difference is your itinerary is different than ours on our sailing this October 13th. That's where the mix up is. The Oct. 13th sailing goes to Coco Cay, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.
  4. Yes I agree. It makes sense as it would be easier to get all spiffy after a day at sea than a sun and sand day at the beach. I was going off several of the Harmony compass's posted on recent CC reviews. 3 and 6 will be perfect.
  5. Where did you see that information? From the past compass from Harmony's same itinerary, The first formal night is Night 3 on our sea day.
  6. I thought you did a great job answering all the questions that you did. A Live review is very difficult. That's why as much as I would like to do a live review for our October 13th sailing on Harmony, I am going to do a "as if" live the following week after I get back. It will give me more time to process and write my observations. I respect greatly everyone here on CC that does a live review.
  7. Thank for your assessment. I hope this will be the case for us. I mainly started this thread to hear other people’s experience with the delayed boarding.
  8. I will deal with whatever. I know these inspections have to happen. I'm curious just to how long they take and is it really mean no boarding till after 12pm. I'm not crazy about having my "Key" lunch be late in the afternoon. Oh well.
  9. So I just got this email from Royal: Dear Guest, We would like to provide you with important information for your upcoming Harmony of the Seas cruise departing on October 13th, 2019. The U.S. Coast Guard will be conducting a mandatory routine inspection onboard before your boarding can begin. As a result, check-in for your cruise will take place between 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. If you haven't already done so, please complete your online check-in, as this is the best way to expedite boarding. To check-in online, please go to http://www.royalcaribbean.com/onlinecheckin and print your SetSail Pass. You can do this up to 72-hours prior to your sailing. As seating in the terminal is very limited, we kindly ask guests to arrive to the cruise terminal after 12:00 PM. We thank you for your time and cooperation and look forward to welcoming you onboard Harmony of the Seas. Sincerely, Royal Caribbean International What time can I realistically board? Are they strict on this window of time?
  10. Thanks for letting us tag along Andrew. Great review with some amazing pictures and a thing learned or two. Safe travels and I look forward to your next adventure. Cheers!
  11. That's sad to hear as we will be on harmony in a couple of weeks. Was it any particular bar or all of them? Looks like I may be drinking whiskey neat.
  12. @Biker19 Thanks for the update. I was curious if they had any damage and how long it would take before they get up and running again.
  13. Nice to see I'm not the only one who drinks a soft drink at breakfast. I don't drink coffee so it's a nice cold diet coke for me every morning.
  14. In a few days Andrew I would be interested in your thoughts of how the food is compared to Harmony?
  15. Enjoy the ride my friend! My son Jonathan's baseball career was a blast as a left handed pitcher. I thought he would have a great future. In the end he got burnt out and tired of all the politics. Hasn't played since but I'm proud of him and know you just have to let them find the path they want. I will suggest however to my son that cruise ship captain is a great career!
  16. I had something funny to say but it could be in bad taste. I'll get my mind out of the gutter.😉
  17. Curious how you did your time lapse. Go Pro in time lapse mode? Another camera video in real time then sped up in editing?
