  1. Thanks, I hadn’t seen that information. Good to know.
  2. I’m booked on the Apex for next year, in a S2, the S3’s are between the magic carpet. The balconies are different to other Sky Suites, with a partial obstructed view I believe. The room layout is also different to other Sky Suites, with bed against wall, whereas the S1 & S2 have the bed against the bathroom wall facing the balcony, with the bathroom having a sliding window so you can let the view in whilst doing your ablutions. I believe the S3’s also have some connecting cabins of inside cabins that share an entrance hall. S1 & S2 are really just location either forward or aft of the magic carpet, but I don’t believe there’s much difference, apart from those aft corner S1’s. thats all I know from my research here and on YouTube of the Edge, the sister ship.
  3. The website has been partially updated, as in the list of itineraries affected has been updated but the top 2 paragraphs of the page still say cancellations through to May 11. https://www.celebritycruises.com/gb/travel-alert/voluntary-suspension-of-cruising Celebrity IT department strikes again, web team can’t even properly update a webpage!
  4. I just self installed Norton Antivirus and McAffee. If that doesn’t kill this effing Coronavirus nothing will!
  5. So this magician took his pet parrot on a cruise. Every day, the magician holds a magic show for the passengers. The parrot sits on his shoulder throughout the act. Eventually, after days of viewing these acts, the parrot starts to get the tricks behind them all. So as the magician would carry on with his show, the parrot would ruin the act by exclaiming, “It’s in his sleeve!” or “It’s under his hat!” or “The assistant has it!” One day, the ship ends up hitting an iceberg while the magician and his parrot are asleep. They awaken to find themselves stranded on the iceberg and the ship gone. For days, the magician and parrot sit there, just staring at each other. Finally, the parrot sighs, “Okay, I give up. Where’s the boat?”
  6. A cruise ship is headed back from the Bahamas on its last night at sea. Right around dinner time, the captain gets on the loudspeaker.“This is your captain speaking. There has been a mix up in our supply. While there are 1,000 passengers on board, we only have 750 meals for you all tonight. However, we do have an excess of booze, so anyone who is willing to give up their meal for tonight will receive free drinks for the rest of the cruise” Two hours later, the captain gets on the loudspeaker again. “Ladies and gentleman, I apologize but it appears we have run out of booze. On the upside, we still have 750 delicious meals for you to enjoy!”
  7. An old lady was standing at the railing of the cruise ship holding her hat on tightly so that it wouldn’t blow off in the wind.A gentleman approached her and said: "Pardon me, madam. I don’t mean to be forward, but did you know that your dress is blowing up in this high wind?""Yes, I know," said the lady, "I need both hands to hold onto this hat." "But, madam, you must know that your privates are exposed!" said the gentleman in earnest. The woman looked down, then back up at the man and replied, "Sir anything you see down there is 85 years old. I just bought this hat yesterday!"
  8. Yes, apparently you get your own cow which is freshly milked at the table and the butter churned at the table and hand shaped into blocks the size of a pound cake.
  9. That’s because whipped butter has had the soul sucked from it. Thankfully, whipped butter is not a thing here in UK. We like real butter, full of delicious bad, artery clogging fats and a little salt! 🤣🤣
  10. We don’t use TAs and prefer to book direct; I suppose this is where there is potential for issues as you are also subject to the TAs terms and not just Celebrity’s. Good luck, hope all works out for you.
  11. If you are outside the normal cancellation penalty window you can cancel and get a full cash refund apart from deposit, but also they are offering the chance to change sail date and itinerary without any penalty (usually £75pp change fee), so that’s also an option if you want. I’d tell your TA to pull their finger out and get on it.
