  1. Yep, I moved our big family cruise from Jan '21 on Oasis to Jan '22 on Harmony. I also pushed Adventure from this October to Freedom in October of '21 (did the lift and shift before they canceled it). And I moved a March '21 on Allure to March '22 on Symphony. So yeah, I feel your pain. I still have a March '21 on Freedom, which was a replacement for the Freedom one we were supposed to be on in June. Now I'm skeptical that we'll be sailing by then, but will wait to see before deciding what to do with that one.
  2. you can totally look, then cancel out. I made notes while looking, then pulled up the actual cruises for more info. That way I knew for sure which one I wanted to submit for based on what rooms looked open, what the itinerary was and so on. The link will only give you the name of the ship and the sail date for ones that are options for you to switch to. Once I knew which one I wanted (a few hours of research and chats with family later), I went back in, chose only the one we wanted, didn't put in 2nd and 3rd choices. Then I waited for an hour and called RCI and told them I had submitted an L&S request but wanted to try and get the same rooms as I had before (I knew they were available because of my research). It was very easy and I got the rooms I wanted. I did the same thing for another booking, although it was for just one stateroom, the other one had been for three. But I still wanted to make sure I got assigned the room I wanted, again, super easy.
  3. We have booked two 'hump' balcony cabins next to each other on Harmony. From the photos I've seen, the partition can be opened, but only about halfway, so you don't really get one massive balcony, but more of the two balconies with a walkway by the outside rail to get back and forth. Didn't look conducive to pulling all the chairs together, but more of an easy way to go from cabin to cabin without going out in the interior hallway.
  4. Final payments are usually due 90 days out. November 1st is 93 days away. Time flies when you're stuck at home. 😕
  5. I posted this on Sunday in the 'crew repatriation' thread but didn't get much response. This is from Pt. St. Maarten's FB page: 📣Press Release | Two Cruise Ships arrive Sunday for Repatriation of Crew Operations✈️ ⚓️PORT ST. MAARTEN – On Sunday, July 26, two cruise ships will be in port for the repatriation of their crew to their homelands. The vessels are the Independence of the Seas from Royal Caribbean International (RCI) and MSC Cruises MSC Armonia. 🛳Both vessels will arrive on Sunday. #IndependenceoftheSeas will depart on Tuesday while #MSCArmonia will depart on Monday. 📌The repatriation of crew will be carried out based on the ports strict “Sterile Port Protocol” that falls under the scope of the Ordinance Public Health which is part of the International Health Regulations as issued by the World Health Organization (WHO). ✅This protocol ensures public health safety and security at the Dr. A.C. Wathey Cruise & Cargo Facilities for all incoming vessels at the port. 🇸🇽Port St. Maarten was chosen due to its strategic location in the Northeastern Caribbean as well as its international connections with airports around the world. As a destination, St. Maarten has displayed its ability to facilitate such repatriation operations safely and efficiently. 🏝The country’s infrastructure such as its homeporting facility and services at Port St. Maarten makes it easy for a cruise ship to have travel documents of crews processed and then taken directly to the Airport to board their international flight. 🔍Additional services such as fuel bunkering and food provisioning, are also available that cruise lines can avail during their port call.
  6. Perhaps these are the same people, but now things have gotten much better in their home countries.
  7. The Pt. St. Maarten FB page posted that Indy is there now through Tuesday, dropping off more crew so they can fly home. You can also get to the link via the PTZTV FB page. 📣Press Release | Two Cruise Ships arrive Sunday for Repatriation of Crew Operations✈️ ⚓️PORT ST. 8. Not Enchantment, but we have a Jan 2022 sailing on Harmony and a March 2022 sailing on Symphony. In both cases, the current price for an over-water cabana is $1049.
  9. I have to say, I've called half a dozen times in the last month (moved 3 cruises with L&S and rebooked a 4th moving deposit) and never waited more than a couple of minutes to speak with someone. I did spend about 40 minutes on the phone with the rep doing the shift of our three, but it was worth it. If you have any On Board Credit on your current booking, make sure they transfer that over. Good luck!
  10. Hi @Itchy&ScratchyLike I said in my prior post, you may want to call now since the reps will see your request in there. Since I had more than one stateroom I called and she was able to see the requested switch and took care of all of it right then to make sure we were close by each other. Yes, you can wait, but as the rep said to me as she was working on mine, she was glad I called because even though they were linked together, their system might have put us all on different decks/parts of the ship and I would have had to call anyway.
  11. The 80's Cruise which was supposed to be in March of '21 on Explorer also just got pushed to March of '22 on Mariner. They are moving everyone's reservation to the new dates but people can also request a full refund.
  12. I did a L&S of our January cruise on Oasis late last week and move over to Harmony for Jan of 22. We had three staterooms, all linked. I did use the link to put in which cruise we wanted from the drop down menu, we only chose ONE. I repeated the process using each reservation number until I had chose the same cruise for all three of our bookings. THEN I picked up the phone and called about two hours later. The reps can totally see your request and therefore they know that the sailing you chose was an option. I said I had called to make sure we could get the rooms all together like our original booking. The rep was easily able to confirm that (FYI, I had done a mock booking for the cruise I had requested to be shifted to, so I had a list of open staterooms that would work for us). You need to make sure you that you're asked for the exact same room category as you had on Indy. They will protect the kids sail free as long as the child is still young enough to qualify by the time of the next sailing. As others have mentioned, if some of your ports change, you may see a slight increase or decrease in port fees/taxes.
  13. They can see what their options are very easily by going to the link in post 17, enter their booking confirmation number and it brings up a drop down of all the available sailings they can choose from. It won't show any pricing as your base fare is protected. For my shift, there was a very slight change in port fees and taxes due to the fact that our new sailing stopped at some different ports. But it wasn't much of a difference at all. You can use that link to check, just don't hit 'submit' unless you really want to change the booking.
  14. Bummer! We were locked into that week due to my travel buddy's teaching schedule, their spring break is always really early compared to most others.
  15. @Ourusualbeach Not related to this topic, but I see in your signature you have Symphony in March 22. Which week? I just did a L&S to the March 5th sailing. It would be great to meet you!
