  1. We both can’t remember exactly but around a couple of hours. At times we were in sight of the railroad track but not always. We were mostly sauntering and enjoying the scenery. There was a little village we passed through and we poked about there. I remember having snacks and drinks with us.
  2. We purchased a one-way ticket on the train and then walked the trail down and back to the ship. This was one of our most gorgeous, fabulous hikes ever!
  3. See you onboard or on Nadi tour! We are on the direct United flight out of SFO and staying 2 nights Hilton Orchard. Safe travels! Sheila.
  4. I was disappointed on Eclipse recently. The Lounge was fully open to all cruisers so with the addition of many seats it became almost impossible to find a seat or order a drink.
  5. Yes to all of the above! We really like them also.
  6. On Eclipse in Michaels the ‘Gourmet Lite Bites’ were nuts - only nuts!
  7. On a recent cruise we filled out a guest comment card, wrote to the guest services manager, wrote to celebrity engagement center and to X President on a particular issue. Not a word back from anyone!
  8. Sorry this doesn’t answer your question but I believe the indentations only indicate bed placement on E-Class. I’ve found Celebrity agents to be clueless on this issue.
  9. As suite guests We were prioritizing at the check in terminal also but it took us almost 3 hours with the long, long lines outside and then the disorganized mess in the baggage scan warehouse! There was no priority there and and all the people who ignored the queue and pushed to the front and into the door were so very rude and added to everyone else’s problems.
  10. I play mahjong on realmahjong.com It’s good practice and in the springtime I’m able to familiarize the years new card.
  11. On Eclipse now in a suite. No chocolates or lip balm. 😟
  12. Are you still onboard, Beth? Celebrity is certainly hearing from us! We’ve had no sign they are listening though. We’ve made complaints to Guest Services and our Retreat Host.
  13. Nothing else to complain about except understaffing. The ship is in pretty good shape. Crowding in OV is challenging.
  14. Yes, that would not be a problem. We were not in a restricted area.
  15. No porters. No help of any kind. Only a couple of shore staff at the entrance to the warehouse. We were over and over hefting our cases over curbs and through muddy potholes on a very crude, uneven sidewalk. It was bad!
  16. Not amazing but nothing really to complain about. Somethings seem a bit ‘off’. Michaels is so dark with no natural light and not as warm and welcoming. There is no assistant (no lovely Michelle) so service is slow. Our Gourmet Delights are nuts - only nut🫤
  17. After you placed your suitcases on the belt you moved to a different section of the warehouse to await transportation to the main terminal a 10 minute bus ride away. I think, just to allow this situation to get moving faster, we didn’t have to scan our carry ons, backpacks or purses. We didn’t see the cases again until they were delivered to our cabins.
  18. We are currently on the Jan 6 sailing on Eclipse. The are no IPA beers available in Michaels, wine selection is limited and the 2 scotch DH enjoyed in Michaels on Constellation in November are not available. The Evening “Gourmet Bites” alternate between almonds or mixed nuts.
  19. Yes, we were notified about a week before.
  20. No access in the outdoor line. Talking to many people around us in line none were paying any attention to their check in time. When we entered the bag drop warehouse it remained one line sharing 2 luggage scanning machines. It was crazy - when the belt filled up the machine switched off while those 10 or so suitcases were picked up by porters and carried to busses. Our waiting time was about 2 hrs 40 minutes at this point. We had a short wait for a bus and the bus to fill up and were then driven to the checkin terminal where we saw the first Retreat signage🤗 Of course by now Luminae was closed so no lobster rolls for us.
  21. OMG - After 50+ cruise the very worst embarkation ever! From taxi drop off at the port to boarding the shuttle to the ship was over 3 hours! The first half was out in the open in 88 degree heat. We did have some rain which was a relief. I cannot tell you how far the line stretched but it was many, many blocks. It got really ugly as we got close to the terminal entrance with buses unloading and passengers pushing to the front of ‘our’ queue. There was little attempt to control the crowd by terminal personnel. Once inside the warehouse like building some control was enforced but it was sweltering, still chaotic and zero communication! Sail-away was scheduled for 5:00. It’s now 6:30 but not everyone in onboard. Our tile reports my bag to still be in the terminal. I could go on and on but I won’t. Plenty blaim to go around but I now have a glass of wine in hand and life is good🤗
  22. Thank you for asking these questions, Dan. I have taken screen shots of Jim’s answers and others. Looking forward to checking out the Facebook page.🤗 We are In Buenos Aires - boarding Eclipse tomorrow. Sheila.
  23. I also heard yesterday - we on the 6th Jan Eclipse with you. Our move was from Concierge to an SS corner aft. I’m happy🤗 Sheila. Born and raised in Preston.
