  1. I was thinking about October to re-book my July sailing. But decided to just move it to August 2021. Hopefully that won't get cancelled..lol
  2. My March 23rd sailing was showing right up to the day of sailing. If I remember correctly it was cancelled on March 13th. I finally got my refund today. This might give some folks a timeline on how quick the refunds are going out. Booked with carnival directly.
  3. If my cruise is canceled in July I'll go to Key West (if it's open)
  4. I've only done 1 TA and it was on Cunard's QE2. That sailing was the best cruise I have ever taken. Cabin, service, food, enrichment programs were all excellent. You will not be bored. Carnival will have plenty of thing to keep you busy. Like with any cruise the only thing that you won't like is having to get off the ship.
  5. NCL Breakaway......Sailed on NCL Getaway, Haven Suite. 2nd best sailing I've ever sailed. Best was Cunard QE2.
  6. Thank you for sharing. This brings back some fond memories. Myself and 3 friends had a plan to sail on all 3 of the original Carnival ships in 1 year. We did Carnivale March 1989. Mardis Gras August 1989. Had Festivale booked December 1989 but 2 of my friends had a death in their family and the Festivale sailing had to be cancelled. We never did re-book. Those ships were awesome.
  7. Same here. Cancelled internet, FTTF and some cabin decorations the day before Carnival cancelled my March 23rd sailing. Still waiting.
  8. I have a 4 and a 3 day B2B in July (I hope) and about every other day the price dropped on each. I just emailed my PVC and he adjusted the price and I received a refund. Better than calling and being on hold for who knows how long. Interesting point they pulled all The Liberty sailings off the website for July. I think for capacity control.

  10. Just went into check to see if my July 13 and July 17 B2B on Liberty out of Port Canaveral was still there. It's gone. Only cruise in July out of Canaveral is Elation, no Liberty. Breeze is still there for the 7 day.
  11. Anyone have experience with a cancellation that was paid with Uplift? I booked a 4 day in July that was paid with Uplift. I've had 3 price drops that have been refunded to Uplift. The balance owed has gone down each time . I'm wondering how that whole process will play out if that sailing is cancelled and I don't rebook (full refund). I know they will get the refund but what happens to the payments I already made?
  12. I've had 2 price drops on a sailing in July that is paid in full and my PVC has given me a refund to my payment method on both price drops, not OBC.
  13. I've sailed in NCL's Haven and MSC's Yacht Club, Cunard's QE2 ( that whole ship was amazing ). We've done those sailings once and would do them again. The privacy and peace and quiet are, to some worth the cost, especially the dining room. Now, do you book those sailings or book 2 regular balcony sailings. That would depend on the person. Some people will only sail those type of cabins. You can have "Fun" in those areas, that's up to you. Our last sailing on MSC Divina in the Yacht Club was a ball. Met 2 other couples on the first day and hung out the rest of the cruise. One night at the Yacht Club lounge we were asked to "keep it down"...lol
  14. I'm (hopefully) doing a B2B in July. The first sailing is paid in full, the second still has a balance due In June. Being in a "Stay at Home" city I have alot of free time. I've been checking my sailings every day. They both have been going down a little every day. I email my PVC and he refunds the already paid sailing and adjusts the other to make the final payment lower.
