  1. These might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IroTlcakpy0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgeDqmuQ7RA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAfsNySEz-o&t=111s
  2. That's how we got our 210 block ON the very cruise. I was told to get in touch with the LA and she made sure we got it, so I know the ship is in possession of some blocks. It was Vision and they gave it to us at the recognition ceremony with the officers. I'm hoping I can do the same for ICON. 3 blocks will look good on my bookshelf and these blocks are the only RCCL stuff I put out at all. I like them because they are subtle and classy. Don't care about pins at all. I just keep the diamond+ one so we can get into functions that sometimes require them. I threw the other ones out already.
  3. Our 280 should occur on our 2024 ICON cruise which I'm excited about. So if it occurs midcruise, you'll receive it later but it should be an ICON block right!
  4. Dec 11 here....still nothing😪 Oops, sorry spoke too soon, just checked and I also did The Book reservation.
  5. I have to laugh, although everyone's experience is different, the most screaming children we have ever encountered were on smaller ships. I'll never forget the Quinceaneras on Voyager! Those kids were everywhere making a complete nuisance of themselves. And they were old enough to know better! We have never experienced anything like you describe on any O class and we have sailed all of them but Harmony. I feel like RCCL has addressed just those problems on ICON having relegated most children to the aft in Boardwalk. We'll never even go to that part of the ship. In fact, the only crowding issues we encountered on any ship, any line is when the shows let out and the elevator bays at that end of the ship are a madhouse. But that has nothing whatever to do with the size of the ship. We just wait a while till the theaters clear out before trying to get out or take the stairs. You can only get so many cows into the shoots at a time! LOL. And ICON has twice the elevators in both bays, 8 forward and 12!!! centrum.
  6. I think that structure is just above those pool viewing circles marked here, actually part of the aquapool and you'll be able to view the divers entering the water from this part of the solarium.
  7. The first O class cruise we did was Allure in 2014, couldn't wait to get in that line for the Kemmelweck, was totally disappointed even then and have only had one more, we have 5 O class cruises under our belts, will never get another of those.
  8. Never had a crowding problem on O class, only problem is if you go with friends, somehow you never get to enjoy the ship. We just got off Grandeur last month. Won't be repeating, just doesn't have enough for us. We pretty much just sat at the bars and conversed with the 2 couples we went with. Odyssey and Icon will be just us! We will have time to enjoy the ships. I don't consider any of the sisters nor Odyssey too big.
  9. Did you go to the floating bar over at Adrenalin Beach, that's where we targeted for our trip in a few weeks. We stayed there the last trip to Labadee but it was rough in the water there, now that the breakwater is in place I think it will be great.
  10. I wish posters here could just let people enjoy what they like instead of finding fault with anything and everything and trying to change opinion with criticism. You like what you like. We go for innovation, I love seeing and experiencing anything new and exciting, so this ship will be right up my alley...others would rather sit and chill on their balcony...there are times we do that too...something for everybody, different strokes for different folks. It's not a crime to be different.
  11. For us it's our vacation home! We've been so many times there's nothing new they can show us, but we love the water and the people and Nachi. It's like On Golden Pond for us.
  12. We didn't find out that we were denied until after sailaway and multiple visits to the Ambassador..boohoo.

  14. Here is a link to Cruise With Ben and David that reviews the food, very good. We plan on doing both. I love them, aren't they funny?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vVlcyhZ_18&t=774s
  15. And I was unable to book an interior for my DD and her DH on deck 4! almost every single cabin had the triple occupancy triangle on it. The booking engine has definitely been tampered with. OOPS forgot the 🤪 to indicate humor....
  16. Doesn't look that flimsy to me! Tried looking up the incidents reported of people breaking through and reeking havoc amongst the tourists though....not one!
  17. Truthfully, Labadee is not my favorite stop either, haven't been on that Itin for quite a while, don't look for it, but I'll be going next month on Odyssey, it just happened to be a stop along with Coco Cay which I thought would be cool having both RCCL resorts. Things have changed on Labadee, they added a breakwater and a floating bar since I was there, so I'll be enjoying them, not worried nor concerned about unrest in Haiti.
  18. Don't you just love when you have a fully paid up cruise? No money worries...gotta love it!
  19. We did question the location when we went to the cabin, guest services would not move us. A little late if ship is pretty much fully booked. Of course it never hurts to ask, I am a firm believer in that! We have been moved after boarding a couple of times but not with a Royal Up bid. This is from the terms and conditions for Royal Up: Can I choose the location or specific features of the RoyalUp℠ upgrade cabin? No, your cabin location and attributes will depend on availability. RCI cannot guarantee a specific cabin number assignment within the upgraded category.
  20. I always think of Good Morning Viet Nam when I hear the word Peninsula! "Say, didn't we meet last year at the Peninsula Club"! LOL
