Below the video in the box it says:

50m jump, A Crazy man jumps from the bow of the Star Princess cruise ship"
.

Really? The posting date was 4 months ago in Dec., 2016.
Tom
Had me confused too!! but either way the act of jumping off a huge ship most of us have been on seems impossible:eek:
-
Huh?
At least people won't think it just happened.
Was playfully teasing, just didn't quite make it that clear.
-
Its an old video.
Oh ok, from back when it was ok to jump from a cruise ship?

Stumbled across this video on youtube of some guy jumping off the Star Princess.

In the email we received yesterday, we are sailing in 12 days, it says upon embarkation we can enjoy lunch in the Horizon Court. No mention of the MDR.
I think Princess tries really hard to dissuade passengers from storming the dining room but having several B.V.E folks joining us, we are a shoe in anyway.

I enjoy any cruise, was just interested in more variety in the food offerings.
It's Official, I can now say I have heard everything possible!:halo:

If you do not find your answers here, a call to Princess can help with question # 1. Full suite passengers get to eat breakfast in Sabatini's which no one else can. As far as special lounges, there is nothing like the Neptune on Princess that I have ever seen.
(Holland America Line Neptune LoungeHolland America Line introduced an industry-first with the Neptune Lounge, an exclusive retreat for guests staying inNeptune Suites and Pinnacle Suites. The Neptune Lounge offers a private place where these guests can relax, socialize with other suite guests and enjoy personalized concierge service to make reservations for shoreexcursions, car rentals, spa appointments and the ship’s elegant Pinnacle Grill restaurant. Each of Holland America Line’s 15 ships features a Neptune Lounge with large-screen television, library, wi-fi,sofas, chairs, work tables and refreshments throughout the day. The Neptune Lounge is open on sea days from7:30 am until 8:30 pm and from 7:00 am until 8:30 pm on port days.Neptune Lounge Concierge ServicesIn addition to serving as an oasis of privacy, the Neptune Lounge offers many exclusive concierge services toenhance the cruise experience of suite guests. Concierge services include: Reservations for the Pinnacle Grill, Holland America Line’s sophisticated, intimate-dining restaurant. ThePinnacle Grill features innovative menus and the highest quality regional ingredients, including handselected, aged Sterling Silver Beef®, fresh seafood and an extensive, world-class wine list. This populardining venue is open to all guests on board, so reservations are highly recommended. Assistance with all shore excursion reservations in ports of call during the cruise. For express shoreexcursion bookings, suite guests should return their completed Shore Excursions Requests to the NeptuneLounge as soon as possible. While some excursions may sell out, priority is given to Neptune and Pinnaclesuite guests. Confirmed shore excursion vouchers are delivered to each guests’ suite. Reservations for car rentals and local restaurants in ports of call. Reservations for exclusive treatments at the Greenhouse Spa and Salon. All Front Office transactions and billing account services – these can be settled in the Neptune Lounge. Continental breakfast and morning coffee or tea served daily until 11:00 am. Espresso and cappuccinoserved throughout the day. Cookies, small pastries and sandwiches served daily from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.Because the Neptune Lounge is for the exclusive use of Neptune and Pinnacle Suite guests, it is not available forprivate functions. )

Forgot to add earlier, as the only kid onboard, I remember one day going to the Soda-A-Go-Go and keeping the poor bored crew member company, while he made me the only hot dog served the whole trip. Also at 14 years old, I would go into the LaPetite Casino and play a roll of nickles in the slot machines from time to time. And finally, as we were sailing up the inside passage to Alaska, I would climb down to the mooring deck and into the front bow rail (think Titanic) and watch as we plowed ahead. Still surprised I got away with that, Oh the memories!

Have you ever had their meatloaf on the last night of a cruise?
framer
You mean the one that tastes exactly like carrot and clam taco's? :D

One small example of the difference between Sitmar & Princess...Sitmar's souvenir coffee cups were made from Staffordshire Fine Bone China from Sherwood England; Princess souvenir coffee cups are ceramic made in China. ;)
I'm not sure what exactly I have (quality wise), but it is a small upright white ceramic tea pot/creamer jug? with the Sitmar logo on it, several Captains Circle glasses in grey cloth bags and 2 white Sitmar ashtrays. And no I did not lift them, but I think my mom may have:cool:
-
Oh my god! Sitmar holds the top spot in my cruising memories. The white glove treatment, the buttered linguine with meat sauce and on and on. Never really got into the cakes with liquor poured over them to keep em moist, but I suffered thru it:D
Cruised the Fairsea to Alaska, 14 days out of San Francisco. To a young kid, this was the cruise bug biting hard enough to break skin, so to speak!

Just curious, what does Princess do with all the left over food from each and every venue onboard? Freeze it and donate it to charity? feed the fish? Crew?

Even if someone has the menus, there's no guarantee that they'll be in the same order and same menus on your cruise.
Thats why I requested "recent", taking my chances and verifying if it's the same familiar 15 day rotation.
Remember there is also staff clothing that goes along with the menu theme. I don't suspect they play to fast and loose with the rotation.

I'm about to take the Grand Princess to Hawaii and wondered if anyone had the nightly menu order available? (day 1: Sailaway menu day 2: Princess menu, day 3: Cosmopolitan menu, etc)
I found the Dining Room menus on the Princess site, but not which night each one was used. Now that we can make alternative restaurant reservations online, it will be easier to pick which night to schedule.
Thanks!

On our Star Cruise, we drove to the area where some venting was going on and newer lava flows could be seen on top of the ground (pics attached)

the Grand can hold her own based on our cruise experiences.
And mine too!
Sailing her again (3 times) this April to Hawaii and wasn't a bit hesitant to book the Grand.

Toss a Baby Ruth candy bar
Into the water and scream!
Someone watched Caddyshack:D

When it comes to everyone's health, the right thing is to say something, period!
And if the cruise line doesn't respond properly, I would cordially remind the parents, they are not at home.

Princess's new advertising suggests you can "Come back new" but after the gauntlet of photo-ops during your cruise, you just may "Come back Angry":D
Very bad experience on Grand Princess

I cruise on the Grand in a week and NOW I know I will bring my blacklight flashlight and amber glasses. They will show anything human the eyes cannot see. Yikes!
