include going on a plane, as such no restriction on luggage I can take as much

as I want, but after years of training to take as little as possible, I am still only

at 20kg so what luxury item should I take,

Princess Transfers,

Once in UK our flight time was moved from early in the morning to very very early in the morning, result was we could not fly down same day, Princess rebooked flights, when we got to the airport a taxi to take us to the hotel in the morning another taxi to take us back to the airport all costs met by Princess,

those folks who had flights only had to find there own accommodation and transport,

then another flight was delayed we were last flight into airport there

was Princess rep waiting for us, and a Greyhound bus all to ourselves,

could on and on, been last to board ship but again Princess transfer so knew ship would wait,

OK, I hope you were just unlucky, I will ask my friends from Aus next week on

the Emerald how the coffee is, I have found the coffee at IC on my past few

cruises to be good, can comment on Starbucks as never been in one or want to be in one,

For us it would be an inside, grand class have plenty of great viewing points,

Royal class not so good, but then the balcony's are not so good either,

Off on Emerald next week but one of our roll call on Caribbean this week so said if you see a big white fluffy dog around 8.30 am when you are in Queensferry see if he responds to Shogun,

Well work got in the way so was not able to go over with Shogun so stopped by for a few minutes this afternoon had only just got there when , "its Shogun"

sure enough had walked right into the couple from my cruise next week,

then a very nice old lady came up and called me by name, saying should followed cruise critic and recognised the dog,

well Shogun got his photo taken a few times and petted a few hundred times.

Feel sorry for the passengers temps today down by 11 degrees c today no sun and rain,

My comments did not refer to Princess but to cruising, my first cruises, officer at

every table, free bottles of wine at evening meal, free drinks if invited by

an officer to attend crew bar, games like bingo etc no fee to play and good

prizes, all shuttle buses free, coffee free, welcome aboard photo etc,

now choices were limited, but the over all feeling was different,

now its possible to pay your cruise fare today and not spend anything else

apart from auto tip, but todays onboard feeling is different,

Once upon a time cruising was all inclusive,

todays model, is the very opposite,

very low cruise price to hook your victim

then once onboard bleed them dry.

Sorry to say the weather past week has been amazing, so expect it will not last,

so have a look at the web cam,

the sail away from Greenock is very scenic,

for those not sailed from Greenock, the main road runs along the waters edge,

giving space for hundreds of folks to line the river bank, local paper often

publishes details of ships so can be a great sail away,
