  1. I've had a separate vegetarian menu (its really vegan) several cruises but then I also have an assigned table / waiter. They just bring me that one. And there's no need to pre-order. Of course I haven't been on a ship since December 2022 which is before the most recent changes
  2. They gave me a menu marked Vegetarian but it was really Vegan. There's a big difference .... their faces were priceless when I asked for cheese to be added (guess I'm more of a kosher dairy person) I've heard of a Vegan Indian menu but haven't seen it
  3. I'll keep my list short: > the bed > Elite tea > solo dining tables > MedallionClass app > menus:: love having a vegetarian menu💜 > paying 1/2 the price I used to pay for an OV but booking BA. Enjoy having tea on my private balcony Still enjoying the rest but those are what's improved IMHO
  4. It will usually always be the one Center ship… but will say in the patter for sure. Center ship MDR = tea Rear ship MDR = Grapevine Wine tasting one sea day
  5. I was going to do that but then I realized a large cup of coffee + 2 pots of tea is $8. Fortunately I can afford an extra $8 a day. Plus I like frequenting local coffee & tea houses on port days
  6. Elite tea is delivered to staterooms around 3pm, same time as tea in 6th deck MDR. Available all sea days
  7. So true. I'm a very heavy coffee / tea drinker. Lg pot coffee in morning + full cup (12 oz) with each meal + lg pot tea mid afternoon (that would be 2 of the IC pots). But not even i can drink more than $8 a day, less if I have elite tea on my balcony. And I have been frustrated by their wifi so I just skip it .... love unplugging actually
  8. In order to get an in-person passport interview you need an international trip within 14 days. R(21M) needed 1 and was given a 9:30 appt, same day they pushed it back to 11, picked it up at 1, was on plane to Paris at 6pm. So it is possible. There wasn't an additional fee to have it at the State Dept (Hayes & Van Ness in San Francisco so local for us). Research your ports to see if they are covered under WHTI (Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative). Some Caribbean countries require a passport. https://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/western-hemisphere-travel-initiative https://familydestinationsguide.com/do-you-need-a-passport-to-go-to-the-caribbean/
  9. Friend just off Regal Princess clarified this for me .... I can trade for a limited selection of white, rex, rose, or sparkling wine .... $40 limit was not specified but I imagine it's the lower priced bottles. Will know in 38 days. JMHO it's cheaper to buy dz water bottles at $7.08 instead of trading for it.
  10. Does it say "Request Received" on the expedite shipping button?? It should. Took about a 1/2 hour for mine to be read. That sped it up JMHO
  11. Now THAT sounds good to me!! Less chance of damage in their uber hot laundry
  12. 1-877-487-2778. I was concerned about making an appointment if it didn't come in time. But it did. Only took 2 business days after it flipped to printed (mailed 2/27, received 2/28)
  13. Last month I had my CVP add my last FCD to a booked trip and received the appropriate OBC. Oops!! Its March. I had the FCD added to the November cruise in January not February
  14. CUK Proxy forms are out & I voted them all out.
  15. This is why I've only been to the buffet once. Ppl looked like they were grocery shopping but then tossed it out!! I used to follow kashrut. If it was good enough for my Rabbi, it was good enough for me. Now I'm just vegetarian So excited to try that!! That could be really good if not terribly sweet. And I enjoy an assigned waiter / asst waiter. @Torfamm looking forward to the white rum fruit salad, Vegetarian Greek Meatballs, and sorbet!! 6 weeks until I board 😁 Thank you for the menus
  16. Just my 2c: Go to any of the Live Threads and see those menus to see that it does vary (albeit less variation than before) every day. Here's the thread Malba was referring:
  17. Royal class voyages I've completed: 2018 Royal Princess 2019 Royal Princess 2021 Majestic Princess 2022 Discovery Princess 2022 Enchanted Princess Booked: 4/16/23 Royal Princess 11/23/23 Enchanted Princess 4/6/24 Royal Princess Times to the buffet: 2019 Diamond Princess 2× to make sushi 2022 Enchanted Princess 1 time. Overwhelming. Dietary restrictions & ppl taking a nauseating amount of food --- honestly no one goes hungry but they looked more like grocery shopping than getting a late dinner Bottom line: I'll join you on a Royal-class ship but not in World Place Market!! (Okay, might run in to fill my disposable cup if not simply buying it at IC)
  18. I've never seen these on a ship. Which deck are they on?
  19. Logged on & saw this: https://www.cruisehive.com/princess-cruises-adds-new-package-option-for-passengers/95184 Its all about the "Grounds Coffee Package" -- think someone should've clued them in that it's NOT WORKING!! So glad I don't board until 4/16/23
  20. As a vegetarian, I am only mildly upset that there might not be a separate vegan menu. But I've got 2 starters, 2 entrees, and sorbet!! 😁
  21. Assune you mean the one with good wines. Post pandemic it was / is / as of December 2022 $25, not the Grapevine Wine Tasting which is $10 (waived for Elites).
