Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I believe they will not remove the balcony partition, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Yes, if you have the beverage package you can bring on wine with no additional fee - as much as you can carry 😀😳
  2. Thanks for posting the dallies - we’re on the next cruise, so it’s great to see what’s going on
  3. There was a place to smoke in Posh when we travelled in April. It’s up a deck from the bar, but not shaded. It’s not so far to the main smoking area on the pool deck - but to be honest the nicest area is at Spice H2O
  4. The balcony is very sheltered, so not windy, but it’s not very big. The room is lovely with a huge bathroom, nice living room area and plenty of storage in the bedroom. Would definitely book this room again, just factor in how many flights of stairs you want to walk up to the Haven when you decide upon the deck!
  5. Agree wholeheartedly with Bird - there are plenty of sun beds around the pool and in Spice H2O, and to be honest I didn’t feel Posh was posh at all ☹️😳
  6. The only free classes are fab abs and stretch classes. These are usually scheduled between 7-8am. Have seen evening stretch classes at 5pm on some sailings. All other classes eg yoga, Pilates, TRX, spin, boot camp are $20 per class, but they will sell a class pass which covers all of these for a set fee. This was $99, plus service charge for the last cruise I was on which was a 14 day. Suggest you go visit the fitness center once you board - they’ll have the schedule for the cruise available so you can see what they offer and decide what you want to do.
  7. We carried on 3 bottles last November, no problems. Haven’t seen any limitations on how much you can bring
  8. We’ve seen guests drinking at the bar eating apps before moving onto dinner. Pretty sure you’d be able to have drinks and apps at a table if the bar is full - and if you like spicy, try the spicy margarita, it’s yummy and not available anywhere else onboard. The street corn is amazing - they’ll cut it off the cob and it’s to die for 😀
  9. Sure, but don’t understand where the $214pp comes from. If you click on the visa link on NCL, the partner website states that a visa isn’t required, so I guess it needs updating
  10. We are also booked on this trip, but have had no notification from NCL - would appreciate it if you could share more details regarding this.
  11. Yoga and Pilates classes are $20 each but you can buy a class pass for the entire cruise for around $99 (depending upon the length of the cruise) which covers all pay for classes. Usually there are one yoga or Pilates class per day, plus spin, or trx/body sculpt so if you like to work out the class pass is the way to go. On embarkation day go up to the gym, meet the trainers and look at the schedule and prices to see what you want to sign up for. Daily arts and craft classes are usually in the morning, around 10am and are free.
  12. We had 3 excellent cruises on the Dawn in 2022 - the staff are fantastic, and the food was consistently tasty both at the specialty restaurants and main dining. Noel, the restaurant manager tours the dining rooms relentlessly making sure that guests are taken care of. Plenty of deck space so the ship doesn’t feel overcrowded. Unless you need a racetrack, water slide or laser tag you’ll have a blast
  13. Los Lobos is awesome - super nice drinks at the bar before you eat, and the guacamole and street corn are amazing
