  1. I don't believe so, I was just on Serenade last May and don't recall seeing tham
  2. When we sailed out of Vancouver last May, our check in was 10 am and it was fairly quick. We waited a bit in a waiting room after going through all the gates but they were also loading 3 different ships. We were on the boat by 10:45
  3. Thank you, that was helpful! I'm going to go check out what's available with the filters 🙂
  4. Hello! I'm not familiar with Norwegian, but I saw some Hawaiian itineraries I really liked so I thought I would hop on here to ask a few questions! 1- Does Norwegian ever have kids sail free deals? Or 3 and 4 person free? 2- Are Norwegian ships good for families? We don't need all the bells and whistles, but my kids like RC's mini golf course and if there happens to be a waterslide, they would love that. We are looking at Norwegian Sun.. any helpful tips or advice? Thanks!
  5. My husband and I loved Serenade and its sister ships! There is so much glass so you get to see the ocean every where you are on the ship. It's got a bit of wear and tear, which is normal for an older ship but I wouldn't say its in disrepair or terrible shape. We love this class of ships so much that it's mostly what we book for RC
  6. Hello! Does anyone have information on Hawaii 2025 itineraries?
  7. Wow.... that's so interesting and so terrible...! It's unfortunate because I like RCL's longer itineraries and repositioning cruises. I was hoping to get a kids sail free deal on RCL to Hawaii... I don't mind taking a different ship but Celebrity and Holland America don't have anything for kids besides a kids club. (Thinking waterslide, mini golf, rock climbing wall) Thanks for the info
  8. Does anyone have information on when RCL will release Hawaii 2025 itineraries?
  9. Sorry it's RC that has kids sail free... Carnival has free third and fourth person
  10. Hello! Just curious, does anyone have a list of Carnival ships that have cabins for a family of 5? I know you can book connecting rooms but I like to take advantage of the kids sail free deals, and we all need to be in the same room for that (plus they are small, so it's no big deal!) We tend to lean towards the smaller ships but any tips are appreciated! Thank you
  11. Besides RC and Holland America, do any other cruise lines have Kids Sail Free? I usually try to book in a room that accommodates 5 people so my 3 Kids are free. Adjoining rooms doesn't really work for that deal unfortunately. Any tips help!
  12. Thank you! Yes this was the formal night but funny thing- they insisted on wearing the suits every night 😄
  13. Wow, that's pretty interesting. I will have to do some mock bookings with different room arrangements to see what the better price is, thanks for the tip!
  14. Thanks for the information on the Joy and the Sun, that's what I'm looking for!
  15. Like I said in my original post, I haven't sailed Norwegian yet and don't know the ships, and was inquiring whether any ship had Family staterooms for 5 people
  16. We just did Alaska on Brilliance! I honestly love that class of ship SO much!
  17. We are also from Vancouver and prefer the smaller ships, mostly for the fact that you FEEL like you are on a ship! We also love the smaller crowds, no wait lines, don't need to book entertainment. We just took our 3 children on their first cruise on the Brilliance and they absolutely loved it! Didn't even need all the extras the mega ships have
  18. No sorry, we are Canadian. We got on the ship in Canada and went to Alaska. It was a closed loop cruise yes
  19. Yes, I do look at the price for connecting cabins as well. I guess I'm thinking if I want the kids sail free deal, we need to all be in the same room or I don't get the deal
  20. I called my travel agent and also Royal and asked because I wanted to make sure we were doing the right thing. The kids weren't required to have a passport by the USA for us to visit there from the boat, but Royal requires they have one just in case
  21. I'm also waiting for this cruise... it seems like there are very few 10 day Hawaii cruises now and most are 8/9 day for the same price
  22. I just did this research because I took my kids on a cruise last month.. RC wants all children to travel with passports whether the country you visit requires one or not
  23. Absolutely stunning views the entire cruise, and I have simular views from home because we don't live too far from Alaska, but it's so beautiful
