Since the virus is hitting places that are already hot & humid, I'd say that's not likely.
Where? Most place humidity is no where near what the summer humidity would be.

You also have to factor in if we get a second wave of the virus as many predict it will be seasonal.

I don't know what to believe anymore with everything going on. I am booked in November and I don't think we will see this cruise. I am no doctor but we have to hope heat and humidity kill this virus.

We do the same.
Cagney's is phenomenal. I usually save it mid week but can never go wrong with any days

Here is my logic. Even tonight the “experts” are saying 18-24 months for a vaccine. Cruises will the very last to get going. Very last, so add another 6 months. We are in 2022. Hope I’m wrong.
Curious how you think it will be sooner?
As long as the numbers go down and they can keep this under control they are not going to make cruises sit. The media is blowing this up like they do everything else. My GF is an ICU nurse and I work in a Police Department so I know how serious this is but the cruise industry will be back before 2022.

I know I’m not getting near a cruise ship until there is a vaccine. Regardless of your thoughts I would bet a lot of $$ that no one will be cruising until 2022 if the lines survive
2022 i will take your bet any day of the week.

Spice H20 you should be fine like the other member posted they don't check key cards just don't draw to much attention to yourself. I will also say that NCL does have a strict drinking policy as I am older but look younger and I was asked for my card multiple times by security when I was in the nightclub near the casino on the Breakaway

For all of you who are saying NCL can't raise any money and is doomed, I suggest you look to Carnival. They just raised 4 billion through a bond offering yesterday, and investors were offering up to 17 billion! The only way NCL is going bankrupt is if the corona virus keeps their ships anchored past this year.

They can easily raise the money. I don't think it's a question of that I think many other things factor In. 4 Billion at 12 percent interest rate is nuts

Obviously, I am taking a gamble. I don't think NCL will file

Word of mouth Norwegians seafarers union negotiated pay raises for the workers. Expect prices to go up. I’m all for this as the crew works extremely hard.

Hence our quick jump over to another cruise line as NCL doesn’t care about loyalty anymore😞 and we are Platinum +. Our other cruise line is very appreciative to have us in their suites! We have only cruised Ncl since 2010 with the last 5 or 6 in Haven. 17 cruises over all but no more. Done with FDR’s money grabbing schemes.
what cruise line do you book with now

YES, Vibe passes are a first come first serve at the desk. I have been told they sell out extremely quick

Yesterday everything on the Joy disappeared off the tables (Salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard), and menus all became paper, no cover. Crew has been wiping down surfaces like crazy. Key cards get sanitized every time a crew member touches it. Today, everything was no-self service, from the buffet and observation food items, even drinks... Some people of course are ignoring the ropes and doing it themselves.
Do you expect anything else? People think they are entitled

Agreed, I saw a man the other day at the buffet get sauce on his hands from his plate, lick all of his fingers, then grab a serving spoon to get more food.. disgusting..
That is disgusting, on my last cruise watched a kid eat something didn't like it and put it back in where he got it from. I can't blame the kid as he was young but just disgusting to say the least.

I agree just giving everyone the heads up. You are gonna have to pay that money anyway so.

For the record, I believe that CruiseNext can be used for deposit on ANY cruise, it's effectively cash in your pocket. Rather than forcing you to pick your next cruise NCL allows you to put down money to use at some point in the next 4 years, it's yours to use.
I don't know how the rest work.
This is correct CruiseNext can be used on deposit

YES, casino at sea has offers that consultants can't get

Ok first off Singapore is no where near what NY/NJ is seeing in cases they have 3,669 confirmed cases with 10 deaths. My point was many people believe the virus is not as strong in hotter and humid weather. It seems man hot / humid places aren’t on the rise as badly as the US
