  1. The silly thing with the interface is that it won't let you apply more than two "promo vouchers" at a time. I had a 10% promo and two CND's on my account, once I applied the 10% it locked out the second CND once I applied one. The website DOES have logic for certain lock-outs but for some reason the double-up (or preventing it) is not working right. For clarity - I WAS actually booking a Studio and had just passed the 6 months until sailing mark) but the only thing preventing the attempt to use two CND's was that I also applied the 10% voucher.
  2. There is at least one thread with a lot of discussion about the deal, your questions may be answered there -
  3. There's a Princess ship in Portland right now. Can Portland handle getting a ship this size out of the water?
  4. Yup, someone beat you by a couple hours
  5. and still won't change the prohibited items list for cruises out of the US, even if the Federal government does remove it from the controlled substances list.
  6. I'll agree that the food is good in Q, the portion of loaded potatoes as an appetizer was large. Value-wise - almost not worth spending a dining credit on Q, the prices are not outrageous. The theming in the venue (on the Bliss anyway) was awesome!
  7. Here are a couple recent threads referencing 'dailies' or 'six' for that ship -
  8. ALL specialty restaurants are included but some items at a-la-carte venues may carry an up-charge. As indicated in the MANY other threads on the topic - book your flat-fee venues FIRST, as the system will assume those will be used on the SDP. Then book any a-la-carte. It does not matter which ones you ACTUALLY use where, it's just tricking the system...
  9. I wonder if this warning statement below might have something to do with that. Maybe they're making that area, since it's somewhat private, an area where this is allowed?
  10. Silly me for not looking it up and thinking the name was the same as later ships, since NCL is apparently not allowed to change the names of venues without passenger approval (yes, a reference to another thread)...
  11. Then take it up with the international maritime governing body as that's the entity banning the substances. Continuing to argue it here will get you absolutely NOWHERE...
  12. I presume that would be an activity done in the Manhattan Room where there is a dance floor. There may be some organized dancing activities in the Atrium.
  13. Discussed (at length I'm sure, I haven't read the whole thing) in this thread posted a couple days ago -
  14. Doesn't surprise me, when you consider that the substance in question is banned from all ships around the world regardless of prescription for the person, and is banned federally in the US which has several implications explained earlier in the thread. By the way, this isn't just NCL. Here's Royal Caribbean's prohibited items list - https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/prohibited-items-onboard-policy Illegal Drugs & Substances CBD Oil / CBD Products Here's Carnival's - https://www.carnival.com/help?topicid=1202 Any illegal narcotics/drugs including synthetic, designer drugs, Cannabidiol (CBD) and medical marijuana Here's Princess - https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/pre-cruise/prepare-for-your-cruise/?accordion=prohibited-items All illegal drugs, including medications without proper prescriptions. This includes legal intoxicant synthetic or “designer” drugs also known as “Legal Highs” such as Lysergamides, Opioids, Methoxetamine, Synthetic Cannabis, Betel Nuts or Kava (Cava). Medical Marijuana I could go find more but I think you get the idea. Until maritime regulations change these prohibited items lists won't...
  15. Vibe pre-sale is relatively new. While there may not have been discussion of Vibe not being available on previous trips, it's possible all people were told when they tried to purchase passes on embarkation day was that it was sold out. Now it needs to be communicated as it's being sold in advance.
  16. https://www.ncl.com/prohibited-items 1. All illegal narcotics/drugs. (Including Marijuana prescribed for medical purposes and other items used as drug paraphernalia. This includes Hookah Pipes, CBD products, THC products). If you want to try to bring these substances despite the warning, be aware of the risk of violating the policies. Doesn't matter what the laws of the embarkation, debarkation or visited ports are. As noted above - MARITIME LAW, which governs the ships, prohibits the substances.
  17. which I believe was explained in the threads I linked above...
  18. Rumor is all of them may be, but that may be based on how the new concept is received on the Prima and the earlier ships that get it. Here are some previous threads on the topic, there may be more discussion of the timing in them.
  19. It's available to me - $70.80 ($59 plus gratuities) for 2 more meals.
  20. Because if the person I was trying to help was in one that should get 2 then they would need to address the issue.
  21. They're probably quoting the policy as it relates to deviation requests for air travel. I'm not sure why they would do that with airfare not in play.
  22. I'm aware, that's why I asked the question and made the statement I did...
  23. What cabin type? Certain cabin types only get one. I also booked a 7-night cruise for March 2023 and I only got one, I booked a Studio.
  24. Ya know, I thought they were! Hmm, if I get an upgrade bid offer, a $200 pp bid to go to a balcony from a studio would still save me money over what a balcony on my booked trip would cost as of right now...
