I see lots of chocolate on the MDR menus including lava cake first night in the app. We leave in a few days.

Leaving in a few days on the Eclipse and I'm seeing chocolate every night with the lava cake the first night!

Hi did anyone ever get points for the webinar? I "watched" the entire thing...

It has changed 4 times in the two months I have been monitoring. 20% is the most I have seen so far. Have you ever seen a bigger discount on dining packages? Better on the actual black Friday? I just don't want to buy it and cancel it again. I find this moving target practice to be pretty messed up. I've never had to monitor and track pricing on these things with other Cruise lines. It is a real frustration with this line.

What is the best discount we can expect to see on Dining Packages? I have yet to see a discount more than 7%-8% - I wonder if it is worth waiting to see the Black Friday sale?

This happened to me a week before I got the upgrade. It was locked and could not be modified and showed pending until I got charged and then eventually and email. When it was locked, it also showed that upgrades were no longer available for the sailing (which is in 3 weeks). But I understand many others are still pending.

This happened to me last week. After a few days it was completely locked and I could not modify (I am just under 30 days from sailing). Another three or four days went by with no access to any business or modification. And then I all the sudden you got the bid and new cabin assignment. Good luck!

Glad to hear they stepped up. This isn't about the ship - it is about customer service. Thanks for the updates! I am looking forward to boarding in December.

If this happened in a hotel not only would you be moved to a suite but you would get a credit. I would be moving up the management food chain on this one. I find this toilet issue 100 unacceptable.

We are on a 6 day cruise on the Eclipse. We have a concierge veranda and a great location. We really want an aft so we bid on the Sunset Veranda ($150 each). The SS is up for $550 a person on the lowest bid. We leave in a month and all of the SS are still available. Asking for a friend, is it worth the bid? We are very interested in the specialty restaurants but would give that package up to move to the suite. We already have our drink package etc so we're fine there. I also am curious the difference between the corner SS and the middle SS on the top deck? We would prefer the corner but maybe the middle SS is better? Background - many years cruising this is my first Celebrity and first time bidding on MoveUp.

I booked a package but realized I could not make a reservation. When I tried to just pay and reserve each restaurant on its own - I had only a couple of choices for two of the 6 nights. We are still 5 weeks out and it's even worse.

We did not book our cruise on the eclipse until about 3 to 4 months prior. We for sure wanted a dinner package (because we would like to try all of them). Once I realized I could not make a reservation with the package we went ahead and tried to book individuall and each restaurant was already mostly booked each night and the nights that had a choice is was 9:00 p.m. or 9:30 pm. Too late for me since this is the same time zone for me. So we unfortunately feel like we have no choice but to just go ahead and purchase on board if we are able to secure on premise reservations if we can even get one at a decent hour. I'm not going to prepay for something when I have no guarantee of getting it I don't care how much it saves me. This model is just a really bad model IMO. And to be honest with you, this is my first time on Celebrity having cruised many other cruise lines and it is pretty much a disappointment that it looks like we won't be able to try any of the specialty restaurants unless we feel like eating a super late night dinner.

We already on her December 1st. We love Mexico and are just looking to enjoy it all. I am so excited for your report. 🎉

I feel like I’ve seen two different responses to this question. If you were upgrading from, let’s say a concierge suite to a sky suite …. This actually includes all the specialty dining restaurants? I understand Wi-Fi and drinks are separate.

We are on the 12/1 sailing. I live in orange county so it’s easy to jump on for me. Our stops are Cabo and San Diego which is nice. having done mostly royal Caribbean and carnival, I am very excited to be checking out celebrity. Just as a sidenote, in Ensenada, you are only 20-30 minutes from incredible wine country is winetasting is something that you like. The wine is comparable to Napa. I don’t know if they have any tours to Valle De Guadalupe but you can alway get a private driver. Incredible farm to table food. That’s the only reason to leave the ship in Ensenada in my opinion. 😎

Valle De Guadalupe is one of the most amazing places - with the most incredible wine hand down. I highly recommend you get a private driver or tour to take you to the valley if you like wine tasting. If not, at the very least you get a beautiful drive and you could get a farm to table meal that will blow your mind. It's about 25 minutes from the port.

Follow up on this question. The drink packages dropped significantly (50% off) so we cancelled and rebooked the premium and saved $100.

Hi Everyone Thank you to all the amazing people that share information on these forums. I try to read as much as I can before I post. However - I'm not getting a clear answer on this question. Or if I am maybe it's just not logically making sense to me. I'm cruising on the eclipse in December. This is my first Celebrity Cruise but about my 30th overall. We have purchased the classic package. I understand the different levels and quality of alcohol that's available under these packages. Where I get confused is the drinks on the menus. It is my understanding that our package covers any drinks under $10 or the type of alcohol that's listed under that package. We really didn't see the need to spend so much more on the premier package when we just basically drinking whatever. However, this girl likes a good martini and I was very excited about the martini bar. I just saw the menu at the martini bar in the martinis are a whopping $17 each. My classic package states it only covers drinks up to $10. And in fact there was not one drink on the entire menu that was under $10 with the exception of beer. So now I'm kind of asking myself, what did I just commit to. And should I be upgrading to the premier package? One question that I cannot seem to get answered is this... if I go to the martini bar with the classic package and order a martini am I going to be charged the $17 or am I going to at least get the $10 credit for the classic package and then pay the difference? I mean that seems reasonable right that you would just pay for the upgrade difference and cost if you're going to have one drink outside of the package? If I'm only going to have a couple martinis this makes sense to me. But if paying for the classic package denies me the ability to have a martini without paying for it 100 percent separately outright then I've got a problem. I'm so excited for you all to weigh in on this....

I am a Platinum/Select coming from Royal as well. Our first Celebrity is 12/1 on the Eclipse also in CC. I am very excited and will be going into it with the same attitude. This is a tough crowd - sometimes and I am afraid to ask questions such as when do you start getting emails or notices for upgrade bids?
