  1. Sorry for the question years later...hopefully you see this. What made it noisy? Thanks!
  2. I've never experienced anything like that shaking before. It scared me and it took me a bit to calm down. I wish the captain would have come back on to give another all clear. I think most of the passengers would have appreciated an explanation.
  3. We're going soon, too! Much to tree_skiers chagrin, maybe I'll see you there! Lol.
  4. Still doesn't change the fact that I was on it and it does exist! 😜 But if it's important for you to be right, then you're right! 👍
  5. Not stuck in a tube, just stuck. Yes, it apparently is a kid's slide. Hehe.
  6. I'm not going to argue with you...there *is* a waterslide on Serenade. Apparently, it's now billed as a "kid's waterslide". Probably because too many adults got stuck! Haha.
  7. Sailed on Serenade in 2019 and I got stuck sliding down the waterslide due to not having enough water pressure on the slide. 🤣 Has that changed? Any tricks on how to get them to turn the pressure up?
  8. Anyone change to Blue today since you didn't pay shipping for the medallion? I was supposed to turn blue, but didn't? 🤷‍♀️
  9. Were you headed up to Vancouver from SF? The was a particularly bumpy ride. I think a lot of people were sick on that one.
  10. Okay, I'm heading to bed. Someone fill me in on how this episode ends in the morning. 🤣 The drama of it all since 6am this morning! I haven't checked my phone this often since my last funny Facebook post when I was checking likes! 😆
  11. I'm sure lots of people are on pins and needles waiting to hear!
  12. Would you be waiting at the hotel had that not happened this morning? I confused about how the issue with hitting the pier has anything to do with your shuttle? Unless they are specifically delaying you and you had a set time to leave that has already passed?
  13. What ship were you on? I've recently been on Royal and Discovery 4 times since the restart and fortunately never experienced that. I'll definitely go to the dining room the first night and check it out. I've never not had the maitre'd ask me my preferences, so your experience is a bummer to hear. Thanks for the heads up.
  14. Yes, I've had that happen, as well. I'm just not sure what happens if I want a meal in the dining room, but have not eaten in the dining room the night before. 😁
  15. We're going on a longer cruise and I have celiac disease. I don't necessarily want to eat in the dining room every night, but the only way I know to ask for a gluten free meal in the dining room for the following night is to order it the night before. Who would I speak with during the day to order dinner for the same evening? Or should I just swing by the restaurant the evening before just to order for the next day? Thanks for you help!
  16. Just buy the plastic ones off Amazon. So much safer and only about $5!
