Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I use something similar. It works for the medallion and for ship cards (on other cruiselines). I found a store that was selling these for people that needed to wear ID badges all the time so I found a cute one with flip flops. The snap part fit through the loop on the medallion case just fine.
  2. On my pc, when I minimize my screen, I see the 035 but when I stretch out the width on the right side, I see the log on info. Mybe it has something to do with the coding?
  3. Thank you. I am able to have one personal item, one carryon and one checked bag but if luggage is not getting lost at AMS, I may risk the checked bag. 3 hours for customs...wow. Is any of that time spent on vaccine/ covid checks? I fly in on a Wednesday late morning mid September so hoping for fewer holiday travelers.
  4. Hello, I will be flying into AMS in Sept. Would I have an easier time if I have only carry on bags? I am thinking one small roller and one backpack.
  5. I cruise solo so if I can get a great price on my cabin or even get a suite, I cruise on NCL. Princess can give decent prices if you look for them and book early enough. I loved the buffet on the Regal because of the large variety of dishes. Their crew were great and I loved watching the movies under the stars (MUTS) even all bundled up on the deck. Depending on your age, I would say NCL is fine for families with kids and teenagers and Princess is more for adults. Princess airfare was very user friendly and I had control of my flight choices. Booking airfare with Princess's gave me better prices than booking directly with the airline and I was able to make changes up to a couple of weeks before the travel date. I would be booking with Princess now but NCL beats their prices for now. Have fun planning.
  6. I find most beds are still to hard for me so I bring a blow up mattress like for camping. I have one that is about the size of a coke can when rolled up so easy to pack and inflats to twin size. It works for the pre-cruise hotel bed and for the cruise cabin bed. I ask the stweard to place it under the sheet. I wish I could have used it for my business class lay flat seat on my last flights to/ from Europe. Boy, were thoe seats too hard to lay in. I figured it would be too tacky to haul it out and huff and puff to blow it up. The squeal to deflate it might have been tacky as well. 😜
