  1. I appreciate the points made about potential improved quality of food with a streamlined menu, but I'm quite disappointed by the options. With dietary restrictions I can't eat beef or pasta, and as a personal preference don't enjoy fish. That pretty much leaves me 1 pork and 1 chicken option. I know my dietary restrictions are pretty specific (and I'm sure others would enjoy more of the available options), but even thinking about how many beef options there are compared to poultry, it feels like a lack of consideration for people who have more limited allowances in what they eat. I'll be going on a 2-week cruise next year and am expecting to be quite frustrated in the dining rooms. I loved the variety of different pork and poultry dishes there have been before. Particularly for a longer cruise, the variety helps to work against getting cabin fever/bored with food. I'm also a dessert fan and enjoyed other options that are now gone (lemon cake, banana souffle).
