  2. We are on the 8th day Symphony cruise (March 23) with Labadee on the 3rd day. I anticipate we will have the same itinerary as you - (Nassau replacing Labadee). We shall wait and see.
  3. This is brilliant. I never thought to reduce that actual cost of the my trip. I purchased the medical insurance before seeing this post - $62 for the three of us. But I will definitely consider for the future. Thank you all for your assistance.
  4. I am looking to purchase travel insurance however, I mostly interested in medical insurance than anything else. I am not concerned with anything else such as trip interruption or baggage. I had a friend who had a stroke in Jamaica while on vacation and it was a nightmare to get him back to the States. Has anyone ever just bought travel medical insurance instead of comprehensive? Am I making a mistake not getting comprehensive insurance? I am past the time period for cancel any time option.
  5. My daughter's first cruise on RCCL was March 2022. We are sailing again this March. She is 17. I think she should have her own loyalty number. Is that automatically assigned or do I have to request it?

  7. I am sailing in 28 days. We were going to carry on two bottles of wine. However, i just tried a passion fruit sangria that I want to bring instead but the bottle comes with a twist top, not a core. Would that be a problem? The link that addresses wine states a "sealed" bottle. The sangria will be unopened but when I think sealed, I think core and wrapper. Any thoughts? Also is it ok to bring sangria instead of wine?

  9. I purchased the 3 restaurant dining package. When I board, can I make reservations on the app or do I have to go to one of the specialty restaurants to make my reservations?

  12. I am sailing with my daughter (17) in March. I am trying to choose RCCL excursion at both ports. I don't want to go on my own when it is just she and I. Many of the excursions seem very similar so we are having a hard time choosing. For those that have experienced any of the RCCL Aruba or Curacao excursions which have been your favorite?

Thank you, everyone, However, the purpose of this thread was solely to have some idea of the cost of the drink package before making a reservation so that my brother could make an informed whether to book a cruise or an all-inclusive based on his budget and what he wants from his vacation experience. Ourusualbeach provided me with the information that I needed.

  18. I am trying to get my brother to book a 4-night RCCL. His kids are 17 and 13. I think they would have a better time on a cruise than on a resort. However, my brother is stuck on drinks not being included in the price. Is there a way to have some idea of the cost of the drink package before he commits so he can tally that into the cost?
  19. I am really struggling here to get resolution. I have sent three messages and I have called 5 times. I have spent a total of 6 hours on the phone to correct a problem that seemed simple but has gotten worse. I paid off my cruise on Feb 28. On March 1 I redeemed a $500 gift cerrificate as an obc. It was add as payment on March 3 and then debited twice (March 3 and March 4) leaving me a balance of $500. You see all of this in my payment history. My last call yesterday, I was connected to a supervisor who clearly had her information incorrect. She told me it would take 5-7 days to rectify the matter and extended the last day of payment to March 18 (my orginial date was this Friday). I go into may payment history this morning and now it shows I owe a $1000. They debited another $500 from my account. I am besides myself right now. No one seems to know how to fix this issue. I printed my history for my own records. I can't keep spining my wheels with customer services. I am getting nowhere! Is there another way I can escalate my issue besides calling?
