Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Hi Kelleherdl! We booked with the offer that they still have (Easy Plus drink pkg & wifi), but nothing additional, so based on our total cost for that vs what our total cost would have been if we had booked YC at that time, we'll save $1,290 if our bid is accepted. If not, we'll still have a great cruise LOL!!
  2. We bid on a YC Deluxe Suite last week for our November Meriviglia sailing. Min bid was $1,175 pp and we bid $1,225 pp for a total of $2,450 to increase our chances. Our original booking (booked in April) was Balcony Fantastica on deck 12. YC would have cost an additional $3,740, so if we win our bid, we'll have saved $1,290 by bidding instead of choosing YC at time of booking Interestingly, the prices for booking both the cabin we currently have and for booking YC are identical now to what they were 4 months ago in April.
  3. Thank you everyone for your input! So from what you've all said, looks like I can book my cruise now and then sign up for Voyagers Club after and also do the status match at a later time. Appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge!
  4. Hi Folks, I've spent the past 2 hours reading every MSC Voyagers Club question on this board but I'm still confused about one thing. I'm preparing to book a November cruise on the Meraviglia which will be our first MSC cruise. We've sailed on a few CCL and NCL cruises and are Gold with CCL and Silver with NCL. I'm reading that if you're a member of the MSC Voyagers Club, you get 5% off your cruise fare. Does that mean that if I sign up for the club now, I'll get 5% off when I book our cruise tomorrow? I have not done a status match if that makes a difference. Not sure if I should bother if I'm only gold or silver on the other two cruise lines. Any help would be appreciated!
  5. Are these perks something recent? We last sailed NCL in 2019 on the Escape and booked a Club Balcony Suite and the only perk we received was the bottle of sparkling wine. No other treats and I don't recall seeing anything about free laundry. We're booked in a Club Balcony Suite w/ Large Balcony in March (on the Joy) so I'm wondering if we'll see any of these other perks that have been mentioned.
  6. We are booked in 8130 on the Joy for next March. Can't wait! There are some videos on YouTube of these same cabin categories on the Joy, Bliss and Escape (the cabins & balconies look nearly identical on all 3 ships), so these videos can give you a good idea of what to expect in these cabins.
