We should meet up

While we live in Florida, we spend summers in CT and Long Island with kids and grand kids. Got our negative tests at 11pm, updated verifly and went to bed. Flying out of New Haven this morning.

Come join us as we take our third voyage on the Mardi Gras, this time staying in a Havana Cabana room. The delta between cruises has been a while (the Elation in March) and to be honest, we have been jonesing to get on a Carnival ship. This will be our 46th Carnival Cruise.

Not on the Horizon, Vista class ships have individual AC units to supplement ship A?C. I am kind of anal and bring along a small digital thermometer. Pn ALL of our Vista class cruises, the room temps when the thermostat was turned all the way to cold was between 64.6 and 65.8, by far, the coldest temps we have ever seen (and too cold for us.(.

I think it is because the entire market is down big time……add to that the price of oil……add to that they are just started recovering from being locked down for 16 months……I could go on but not sure why.

Maybe, just maybe we are over analyzing line items on the bill, but that is just me.

Still not sure I understand, 34 people (according to JH, at least in someones eyes) have said they do not want daily service, but want. A RS on beck and call, in case they DO want something. Did I get this right?

Hey Jeff, just finished catching up on another great Jamman Review. As usual, you set the standards in terms of details and pics. Making me long for our next cruise on her on the 25th.

Stayed in many VS on Carnival ships. We do not use room service, but on Carnival there is not a difference in which cabin you stay in.

Op, I have sailed on both the Elation and Mardi Gras this year. As some have mentioned, your experience is in part based on your expectation. One is the newest ship on their fleet, with all the best bells and whistles. The other has been recently upgraded (we were in a cabin that was aded aft top deck. We loved both ships and the experience on both. One had less things to do and food experiences, but cost much less.
