We did receive a paper suggesting when we should go to dinner. I will post a copy. FWIW, we went to dinner around 6:30 and we were seated right away. A nice little table for 2 by the window.

Thank you for posting this.  We ususally eat between 7 and 8 pm, so I guess that is part of the problem.  I was interested in the pagers, as it would be great to wait in the bar lol

The first time we made reservations, each of us made our own, all at the same time.  When we showed up...they had separate tables for all our reservations, and did not have a table to seat us all together.  So none of our reservations were honored that trip, we had to get the pager each night and wait for a table large enough for all of us.  Since then, one person makes reservations online ahead of the sailing for all members of our party.   We have done this many times and have had no issues at all.  Always seated at the time of our reservation, always together.

We were on Equinox last April and had our reservastions linked, set up a time for MTD for each night and still had to wait in line every night for about 20-30 mins.  There was no pager where we could wait in a bar for our table to be ready.  When did they start the pager system?

Not sure if you went already, but I went with my dad who is in a wheelchair in February.  They have trails to take your wheelchair.  Then my dad is able to walk a little when holding on so we would walk him to a chair or lounger and put him in the shade.  there are handicap bathrooms as well.  It all worked well and my dad enjoyed himself.

Thank you for taking the time to write.  We will be in Labadee on Dec 1st...so looking forward to it.  We are renting a scouter for my husband and discovered that you can actually take it off the ship, which will make things much easier.  We are travelling with my brothers and they rented a Cabana, so it should be great.  It is good to know about the bathrooms, that will help. Glad you had a great time!

  4. Hi...Not sure if you found answers to your questions in time.  I have been doing a bit of research on Labadee. We are going in December and my husband will have a scooter. You can actually take your scooter with you.  There are paths they can drive on.  They can't go onto the sand though.  They have special wheelchairs that locals will drive you in, that are called beach wheelchairs.  They go right on the sand.  They do have beach chairs.  I'm not sure about the bathrooms, but by law they would need to have them.  There are a number of threads that speak about the mobility issue.  Enjoy your cruise!

  5. Is this Mambo Beach in Curacao?  Did you do an excursion to get there or go on your own?  Was also wondering just how far it is from the ship to the tour buses.  Thx

  6. We are going on RC to this port in Dec/19.  My husband has a few problems with walking.  Is the water really rocky all over.  Has anyone been to Mambo Beach...is it better.

  7. Thank you for all of this information.  The pictures are amazing.  The water is so clear.  We are so looking forward to going.  We love the idea of the 3 islands and having 3 sea days.  I will keep researching for sure...still lots of time.

  8. We are travelling on our 3rd cruise on The Explorer of the Seas Nov29/19 to the ABC island.  My husband is a beach lover, but has some mobility issues.  He can walk a bit but not long distances.  We want to visit a beach in each spot.  Any advise on where to go?
