  1. We were on Arcadia and it is true that P and O were exceptional in the way they handled the emerging chaos in the world. All facilities remained available, social distancing was introduced, activities continued as per normal and the cruise finished on the due date. The thirty odd sea days without land felt a bit weird but we were kept up to date all the time. It helped that beer was reduced to half price to help sell it and everyone on board appeared to enjoy the fact that we were in a safe place whilst there was uncertainty everywhere.   2. We opened the account before our World Cruise last year. It is excellent value, paid a little extra for 100 days cover, £30k cancellation cover for the full cost of the cruise and a couple of declared minor medical issues. Just before we left paid for missed ports cover. Think from memory the extras cost about £400. You also get included with the account mobile phone insurance and car and caravan recovery insurance Europe wide.   3. Hi We always stay here the night before (unless it is a cruise of more than 2 weeks or so) and book a club room with a view of the pitch. Restaurant is good, rooms very good and the club lounge is quiet with wine and nibbles in the evening as part of package. The staff advise you to put your car in a quiet part of the car park and will order you a private taxi the next day at a time of your choosing.   4. Hi We covered for £30k cancellation costs for this years Arcadia cruise. The cover was an additional fee with the insurers. We also took out cover for missed ports and cover for 100 days away. We also had a additional fee for pre existing medical conditions. The basic World wide Insurance was from our Nationwide Flex plus bank account which costs £13 per month. It also includes car and caravan recovery throughout Europe and mobile phone insurance. Our total outlay for insurance was £500 Plus the £13 per month fee for the account. Total cost £656.
