  1. We experienced this in Fine Cuts, but did not notice noise in Eden.
  2. I have seen people purchase upwards of 80k in the art auctions. But does one spend more on a bottle of wine than they spend on their cabin?
  3. I asked the question because it seemed like your preference was based upon risk aversion?
  4. Does the classic drink package cover this 🙂🙂
  5. So what is your opinion of aerialists doing their act hundreds of feet up in the air?
  6. There is no wow with an aeralist doing their act at 20 feet. Now perhaps if they were one of the better aeralists. But they are not. They are cruise ship aeralists. Perhaps 10 or more aeralists with 10 acrobats with ...
  7. The poster that I was responding to thought that the shows were Grade A. Even when you compare the shows to Royal the shows on Royal are better. I will take someone diving into a small pool at 300 feet or better vs someone doing aerials at 20 feet. If you want the shows on the main stream lines you go to the bigger ships. I did not realize that this was a point of contention. Regarding the food well the tumbleweeds blowing through the OVC in January were a bit much with all of the empty stations. I can read the menu for my upcoming cruise and I can tell you that it is not up to par with the menu on my last Celebrity cruise. This is without tasting the food. I can read a menu. What is the latest Celebrity fiasco? Vaping in the casino... The Celebrity changes trying to attract a younger clientele are a bit much. My plan is to try an Oceania cruise after my next Celebrity cruise. Regarding the shows. Does anyone that has been on 30 or more cruises not get tired of some of these shows? They all seem very similiar to me.
  8. When this gets rolled out to the other ships, I will just skip the casino on my next cruise ...
  9. Kind of the way that I feel about the Celebrity casinos. They are rather small when compared to land casinos.
  10. Not disdain they are boring to me and one among hundreds. The same for ship casinos. I may skip out of the show if I start dozing off. Why do I cruise this category? You are 100% correct. It is not for the shows or casinos. If it was for the shows the bigger ships have a bit better shows, but I like the smaller ships. I am just totally bored with them. I probably have seen 20 or so similiar B shows this last year and 10 or so Vegas headliners.
  11. LOL These are what our B shows look like ... The headliners are much much more extravagant.
  12. When you compare them to O in Las Vegas or any of the Cirque Du Soleil shows they do not come close. For starters their stages are way too small. Ho hum. Boring... They probably don't have anyone that comes close to Shin Lim either...
  13. Celebrity has waterslides ...
  14. Perhaps a good reason to avoid cabins behind the smoke stack in the back ...
  15. I don't think that it is how much more a gambler will spend. I think that it is how many more gamblers X will attract. If you look at the off strip casinos in Vegas they are super smoky. The off strip casinos are where the odds are better than the strip casinos and the gamblers hang out. Some residents come rather close to living in them. Sure they go home at night, but eat and gamble all day there. Who would have thought that one addiction would lead to multiple ... Anyways I think that they are trying to get more gamblers vs having a gambler spend more. And many smoke. I don't smoke and would prefer a smokeless casino. I also gamble very little.
  16. Just curious what is a high roller level on a cruise ship? Somone who gambles 10K, 100K, 1000K?
  17. My question would be: "Have you lost your minds"? 🙂
  18. I think that it depends upon age. If it is the younger generation they would be more diplomatic about it. The older generation would just straight up tell them that they were being inconsiderate #$%^!
  19. American IS the only airline where I am having this issue. Delta, Singapore Air, Southwest have only given me mild schedule changes. Yawn.
  20. Airlines are changing thousands of flight schedules: What you need to know - Good Morning America It looks like American IS #1 in flight changes ... Four for four... American Airlines has changed or cut roughly 60,000 flights between May 1 and Sept. 1, the most of all the major carriers, according to Airline Data Inc.
  21. How many consecutive scheduling muff ups would it take for you to find a different airline? It really does take a bit of extra time to choose a different flight every time that American changes the schedule for a trip.
