    You need some tapas with anchovies or sardines on toast! Lovely sights, not a cloud in sigh all day it seemed! Hopefully it cools off as the night goes on.

    If you want a cool idea for an easy dinner in Trieste, next to your hotel is a shopping center called Eataly. https://www.eataly.net/it_it/negozi/trieste/ristoranti It has all sorts of food/wine plus restaurants inside where you can grab a bite to eat.
