  1. Great input! Keep it coming. I guess I'm considering 8/16, 8/18 and 8/20 (1PM)-21 (7PM) At Sea days. I'm sure the kids will be engage wherever they are. I'm just interested in hearing what other have experienced. thanks! Date Port Arrive Depart Sat, Aug 15 Seattle, Washington 04:00 pm Sun, Aug 16 At Sea Mon, Aug 17 Juneau, Alaska 11:00 am 10:00 pm Tue, Aug 18 Skagway, Alaska 07:00 am 08:30 pm Wed, Aug 19 Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier (Scenic Cruising), 07:00 am 01:00 pm Thu, Aug 20 Ketchikan, Alaska 07:00 am 01:00 pm Fri, Aug 21 Victoria, Canada 07:00 pm 11:59 pm Sat, Aug 22 Seattle, Washington 07:00 am
  2. Us adults will enjoy our Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier viewing day aboard but I'm thinking the kids 12, 14, 19 and 21 might only last so long. What does your family like to do on sea days, especially glacier viewing days? We'll be on the Ruby Princess Aug 15, 2020. thanks! Looks likes we have quite a few sea days. We are first timers so all this new for us. Thanks!
  3. Ugh, figuring out excursions is an overwhelming (but Happy) pursuit. Are there good sites or links for where to do the research on independent excursions. We are on the Ruby Princess Aug 15. Ports are Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway. I'm not that concerned about Victoria since we're from Seattle and can go anytime. We've got teens from 12-21, middle agers and 2 seniors. We're open to active and adventurous options. I'd love for the teens to do research and help make decisions. I'm just trying to narrow down the field a bit. Thanks!
  4. I’d love to hear about the kids and teen clubs onboard. Some info on the pros/cons, tips and tricks and the likes would be helpful. My kids are 12 and 14 and will be first time cruisers (we all will be). My 12 yo is our extreme extrovert and would prefer to attend the Teen Club and 14 is our introvert but loves all things board and video games. They have never Gravitated towards kids clubs but I’d like to encourage them to try it out if I hear good things about it. We are traveling with grad parents, aunt and 19 and 21 year old cousins. What have your kids liked to do onboard and at the clubs? 12 is on so On the cusp of kids and teen activities. Will there be enough to engage her in the kids club? With other kids her age? Can she join her brother in the Teen Club? thanks!
  5. How does AT and the MDR work? Do we just show up or do we make a reservation? Will our extended family be seated together? Is the same food served in the MDR as the buffet but in a nicer setting? Any pro tips we should know about AT in general? We'll be on the Ruby going to alaska in Aug 2020. thanks!
  6. We are booked in cabins R333 and R337 BC for an Alaska cruise this summer. I'm a first time cruiser so I'm hoping someone can help me out. It looks like Riviera is the deck below the pool and spa. I see folks warning against staying below those areas. Can anyone who has stayed in these cabins offer their opinion on how good/bad their experience was?
