  1. Glad to see we won’t be the only ones in our 40’s and 50’s 🥳 Age is just a state of mind anyway. We’re into fitness and fun and can’t wait to sail on VV!
  2. 90 days in advance with payment due at the time of purchase.
  3. I’m happy to read all of the positive comments here. In retrospect, we should probably have booked a different ship as we don’t care about the go carts, laser tag and VR. I’m really into aesthetics and how spaces feel so not too thrilled with the prospect of the small pool deck. That being said, we are looking forward to the spa, gym, shows, dining, bars/live music, ports of call and just general R&R. We’ve booked as much as we can in advance so we don’t miss out on what’s important to us. We’re still 70+ days out so looking forward to reading more tips and advice and will post mine here as well. Happy Sailing!
  4. Brooms77, I was thinking of switching my reservation as well. Is this easy to do or even possible after you’ve already paid?
  5. Thank you all for the information and confirming the blue lights can be turned off. We put our upgrade bid in. Fingers crossed!
  6. Hello! New to Cruise Critic and back to cruising after 15+ years. We’re sailing on the Encore next year and are considering bidding on an upgrade to the Haven Spa Suite. However, I watched a video review of the suite which looks amazing except for ambient blue light shining out from the nightstand toe kicks and the spa tub. Does anyone know if this can be turned off? Also, the suites on the port side are just under the entrance to the fitness center so I’m concerned about noise. Any insight on these two items would be greatly appreciated!
