  1. Yes, all of the regular Starbucks brand coffee in the Café Promenade is included in your cruise fare and the specialty coffees are included in the Royal Replenish package. On ships with a Starbuck's kiosk, the kiosk is not included in the package.

Going on the Adventure again for two weeks shortly....have to thank you again for the great advice to just try the ship and San Juan....this will be year 4 and already have 2016 booked for Adventure...

  2. We always have a door sign and when our family is with us they have signs too. Depending on if we are celebrating anything depends on the extra celebrational signs

Love seeing all of the great ideas on this thread...love the christmas blankets on the bed too.....

  3. Love this SHIP and going on fourth B2B in a few weeks and have another B2B booked for 2016 with the changed intineraries.

The crew is awesome and leaving out of San Juan works great for us too although we have have Baltimore and Bayonne close to us. We don't care for the schedules out of those ports and love the southern caribbean.

  4. We were on the ship in March. Loved the experience of going out of NO. We didn't have the boarding issues many have posted since but we arrived very early. The food was excellent then and we had MTD.

The Blairs were great. Granted they are not Richard Spacey or Ken Rush or others but wow...he is very talented and I enjoyed the special show he did. She was our activities director. They work very well together with their crew and never had to wait for things to start and they added many things each day depending on what was happening with the weather. They were also everywhere out and about on the ship each day. I enjoyed that! Extra personal touch you just don't get on bigger ships.

We enjoyed the Serenade so much we booked two more on her!

  5. Amazing the menus are changed on the American Icon again. It did have surf and turf on it when the crossing started and now that is changed again. Its just crazy. You have guests making reservations based on the menus and we are already worried about booking dining and show times and food choices do play a part in the experience. We are already paying premium for the ship and the choice to sail out of NJ rather than fly. We get that but I am not going to eat in pay restaurants all 12 nights of my cruise either. My choice and my thoughts...guess Anthem is going to be leaving my roster of cruises too..

  6. We are not in favor of DD.

Hope it does not go fleet wide.

Hey Dick and Mari!!!! How are you all? I see Grandeur is on your sights now....we aren't fans of this DD either. I do have an anthem booked but might flip that too. I have been looking at the Grandeur also. We have gotten used to flying to San Juan.

I talk to SeaCruise....Mary....almost everyday on Facebook.

    So glad to see you!!!!!

  7. Ocean Jewelers on Front Street in St Maarten. Love DJ and Bob...been purchasing from them for many many years. No pressure. Honest. That is all I ask and they have been that since day one. My pieces have appraised for more than double. I look for unique when I am shopping and has to catch my eye...these guys have the different items. Not everyone on the ship is going to be wearing the same piece. They design so so many of their own.

  8. I agree with your post. I have gotten the impression that DD is still having issues. The menus don't match what is on the RCCL website. That is a big problem. While I understand what many of the posters are saying on that....you don't know what you are going to wish to eat a year from now but if you don't book your reservations you will end up paying which is probably what they are driving for or eating in the windjammer. However...point being that if you have to choose your dining choices today for a cruise many many months away, you ARE looking at the choices on the menu. This is how so so many guests are making their choices. Lobster being a big issue and no one knows if just this sailing that the change is back to the Grande. Who knows right now.

No kids menus until a guest really gets major upset with GS and dining execs....come on...they new how many kids were on this sailing. Too many folks getting told that their problems are solved by going to the Windjammer to dine.

Not good answers. Now many are reporting on this Ripcord or fly thing that there is a charge yet our own cruise critic execs on board are saying no. Who is right? Suppose to be free and second ride or more rides are a charge if same day? Just too many variables.

Have seen several comments on the the seaplex as being underused... some like some don't. This ship hasn't had the greatest sailing weather till the past few days so maybe things are improving. it was amazing to see how many pages the thread went to and it was only a day or so into the sailing. Internet won't improve till it gets here and then what? Guess the techie ship isn't all that techie if you can't plug in.

Thanks for sharing your points....all spot on.
