  1. My Verifly app is still asking for a negative Covid test result even though I'm vaccinated & the pre-cruise Covid test is no longer required for me. Verifly will not PASS me . Do I need to use Verifly in order to check in at the pier on cruise day? Thank you

  3. Has anyone heard an update on the Italian restaurant on the Vista. Are they going to reopen as planned July 1st? We have reservations for our July 9th cruise. Thank you
  4. We choose our check in time (for our July 9th cruise) last night. We choose 10:00-10:30am. We are Platinum and previously were able to board at anytime. I know things have now changed due to Covid. My question is: If we arrive past 1030am are we able to board at that time or will we be penalized? Thank you.
  5. We usually use 81 Dolphin cruise parking but they have such bad reviews lately and my son used them last week and had to wait over an hour after disembarking for a shuttle back to their car. I did a search and it looks like Falstaff has excellent reviews(none recent though), wondering if anyone has recent experience with them? They have good prices as well. Thank you
  6. Thank you for your review. We will be on the Vista July 9th to celebrate my daughters 26th bday. I have a question regarding the Muster drill- Where do they hold the Muster drill? The last time I cruised in 2019, it was held in the huge theater. Another question, I've previously read where ppl have complained about the elevators and not being able to access many times due to them being so busy and having to wait for long periods of time to board an elevator. My husband just had hip replacement and is still struggling with his ambulation, he find stairs very difficult. So I am a little worried about the elevator issues, if there are any issues. Thank you
  7. My son & his new wife are booked for this Saturday for their honeymoon trip. We are booked in early July. So I'm certainly hoping that they can fix this issue without dry dock.

  9. I didn't purchase insurance for my July cruise, so if we have to cancel due to a positive Covid test a few days before we will get a FCC even though we didn't purchase the cruise insurance?
  10. Where does everyone go to get their Covid Rapid NAAT test within 48 hr before your cruise day? Does it have to be the NAAT test? My friend cruises mostly with RCCL and they offer a home test with results verified by a telehealth visit by a medical professional. Does Carnival offer anything like this? I've searched but didn't find anything on the Carnival site. RCCL has the info on their website. Thank you
  11. I am so sorry, I've searched and can't find this. Does carnival still give Platinum and Diamond members a special logo gift? We've recd blue tooth speakers, Tervis tumblers etc. Thank you in advance.

We haven't cruised since Aug 2019 so I was surprised to hear that Carnival no longer allows Platinum and Diamond members to arrive at the pier for check in at any time (even if they have a scheduled time)like they have in the past. From what I understand, now we will have to check in online a few weeks prior to our cruise date and select a time to check in at the pier and we wont be allowed to deviate from this time as we have in the past. So , if our scheduled time is , for instance, 1:00-1:30 and we arrive at Noon we wil be turned away? Thank you in advance for your replies.
  15. Thank you all so much for the helpful replies. I wasnt able to read the entire article regarding the long lines unless I paid for a subscription to the newspaper. Im glad this was an isolated incident.
  16. So even if you show up at your scheduled time you will be in line for blocks? Doesn't make sense. Kinda freaking me out. We've always been dropped off at the pier & entered the building. We got right in, never long lines outside. Yikes.
  17. Just saw this headline regarding passengers waiting to board the Breeze last weekend. Does anyone have info about this? I'm hoping this isn't going to be the norm for cruising out of Galveston. I do not want to wait outside in line for blocks. I wasn't able to read the full article without a paid subscription to the Galveston News.
  18. This will be my first cruise since 2019 and am needing some info please. Can I go to CVS or Walgreens for the Covid test 2 days prior to our embarkment date or do I have to go to a MD office and get an MD signature on the test result form? Thank you
  19. I haven't been on a cruise since May 2019 and am trying to find recent menus for the Steakhouse, Cucina and Asian restaurants on the Vista. I'm sure this has been answered many times and I have done several searches and nothing pops up. So please forgive me . Zydeco cruiser used to have recent menus but nothing new on that page since 2019 for Specialty restaurants. I appreciate any help. Thank you.
