  1. Oh sorry that's confusing because they don't show that as an option. Just the 19.95 per day unlimited Not see anything that said 7 95 faster service
  2. I thought the internet package is 19.95 per day per device for unlimited. Did you pay an extra 7.95 per day for faster internet??
  3. Hi there I have read some not so good reviews about this company lately and know they were sold so hoping that by next year things will have improved as we have never cruised and had planned a trip on Princess however due to some circumstances we have to switch gears and are now looking at the Pursuit Greece and Croatia trip which looks good. The website though leaves alot of questions unanswered and i don't always trust what I get from the customer service reps. Will call but interested in hearing from those who have traveled with them. One question is with the basic drink package that is included with the fare, is there a limit to the number of drinks in a day. Also re internet package for 19.95 a day. is that for only one device? Thanks for your response
  4. Ok thanks good to know. We have used minis in hotels and they are pretty cold. For a day they have been fine with anything wecput in there. We would only be purchasing something that would not spoil easily.
  5. Thank you thats a good point. I think we woukd bring on things not needing to heat up. Cold tapas items and bread cheese. Hopefully that will be ok.
  6. Wow so interesting. I think good idea to ask before we got off yes. We are entirely in Europe on the Island Princess. Now I am going to push even more...if I can bring it on or do bring it od..is there somewhere to heat it up?
  7. Thank you all. Steelers 36 why do you think not. It sounds like many have.
  8. We have waited on our friends and they are last minute planners.. that is not going to work for us. Already many of the Tangier tours that the ship has are booking up. We are hoping to plan our own tour for the 6 of us but would like to go with one that perhaps someone has already used and was happy with. Any suggestions would be great. Our trip is not till July but it all goes so quickly. Thanks
  9. If so I would love to hear what you liked did not like, if you have a trip report, were there excursions you booked on your own that you might be willing to share. Any info would be good to know!
  10. Hi all Here I am again with another random question. Are you allowed to bring food onto the ship from the port you just visited. Say we liked the bread or pastry they had in port and wanted to bring some back are they ok with that. What if it was empanadas? Or croquettes in Porto.. The cruise ships make money on us because we wont eat alot on the ship. We like having a nice big lunch (which is our dinner) in port to experience the local food. THen at dinner we eat light or just snack. Bread and cheese and some salad or some of the local foods.. Any way just wondering what the policy may be. I know you can bring alcohol on board (say bottles of port from Porto) but they will hold it till the end of the cruise. I just wondered about food. Thanks!
  11. Thanks I plan on getting the neck fans now to try them out. We will be in the heat of the California desert this winter and if they prove useful there we will take them with us. I am thinking we would more likely be cold rather than hot on the ship with the AC.
  12. Thank you all for the flgrea t suggestions. I am not for decorations si much as liked the idea of something to identify the door though our cabin is the first one in a line so think it will be easy to find I like the idea of the luggage tags so thank you for the links! Seems the temps vary for some so I definitely will bring a light jacket just in case I usually do anyway. We will be in southern Europe in July / August so I am more concerned about packing for extreme heat. We even ordered these portable fans to wear around you neck lol Good to hear Island Princess is a good ship as we have read negative reviews yet we booked because of thecl itinerary. We also ordered magnetic hooks as some people have suggested but I like what Tom did with the Magners in the room. Great way to keep schedules and any thing else handy Also getting an over the door shoe caddy to use for storage as well. Some great ideas people have!! Thanks again! I am surecto have more random questions as time gets closer๐Ÿ˜‰
  13. So I will be going on the Island Princess in July first time cruising. I have a few random questions. Luggage tags or covers. I read a tip it's advisable to buy some before the trip but seems you need to know which ones princess tags will fit in. Where can I find these? Are the ships cold inside in the restaurants and other indoor venues? Trying to decide how to dress in the evening. We tend to run cold. We were on a small 30 person ship this past summer and it was freezing on board. We had to turn off our AC in the cabin it was so cold. Do people often put things on their doors to decorate them? I know more questions will come up but that's it for now. ๐Ÿ˜Š Thanks!
  14. Hi there For anyone who has stayed on the Island Princess... crazy question.. are there metal surfaces in the interior cabins.. I ask because I am thinking of taking magnetic hooks but then read that not all cruise line cabins have metal.. one cruiser said she encountered mostly plastic surfaces. Thanks!
