  1. Thanks to both for your advice. I will discuss with my travel agent to confirm what info, if any, she has received from HAL. Will update when I have more info. Good luck to all in getting the refunds...it IS a bit scary to have the situation drag on and on...
  2. Kfrech, I too paid with my Chase credit card. Full payment was due on January 31, so when HAL cancelled our May cruise on March 31, I was already at the 60 day period for disputing the charge. Our TA requested a full refund (about $4,900) around April 1 and at that point the HAL website said refunds were taking 60 days, which would put my refund coming about June 1. Were you past the 60 day dispute period (based on date of payment) when you disputed the charge with Chase? I'm hoping that if I dispute it within 60 days of SAIL DATE I'll be OK. I'm willing to give HAL until the second week in June, but at that point I plan to dispute. Based on your experience would that work?
  3. We will be sailing on the Noordam to Alaska in May 2020 and were very excited that the ship went into drydock in fall 2019. There have been conflicting reports re how much was done in the staterooms. Apparently suites got a pretty comprehensive refit, but has anyone stayed in a Veranda VA cabin after the drydock? Wondering if bed linens and drapes are as shown on HAL website or still the older (orange/reddish) ones. This will be our first trip on HAL and we are really looking forward to it.
