  1. Within the last hour I booked a specialty restaurant on 3 booked cruises using the Loyalty discount and the correct pricing carried all the way through to the purchase.
  2. They have scones (plain & Raisin), clotted cream and a couple types of finger sandwiches. Teas is from the tea bags they have in the buffet.
  3. I think a lot of the recognition on the ships is up to the ship staff themselves. It just seems to be so inconsistent among ships. And I think we would have also been disappointed if there was no recognition. We were pretty fortunate on the Connie last month. We had a wonderful Zenith celebration on the Bridge and were able to invite our friends to join us. Besides receiving the cake, flowers and a model of the ship, the Captain made a very heartfelt toast to us. We were also joined by the other senior officers and the CD (Sue Denning). This was in addition to a comped specialty dinner, champagne and fruit in the room, a Zenith cocktail hour and, another day, a Zenith lunch. There were also other little surprises during the cruise and the Captains Club hosts were exceptional throughout the entire time. If you have not heard anything before your next cruise you should, by all means, reach out to the Zenith desk.
  4. When we went to check in for our first cruise as Zenith last month on the Constellation in Tampa we were a bit hesitant since the sign stated "Suites" and not "Suites and Zenith". We walked up anyway and asked, and they let us through.
  5. This is most likely a pic of another E-Class ship. When we sailed on the Equinox in Retreat there was no bar. As 39august mentioned the staff took orders and went to another bar for them.
  6. Just got off the Constellation last Thursday after a 12-night cruise. Elite Happy Hour lounge was on 3 evenings in the Reflections Lounge on deck 11. Otherwise, you can go to any bar during the 12 nights from 5-7. Although we could have we didn't make use of the lounge.
  7. We just got off the 12 day Mardi Gras cruise Thursday on Constellation. We are Zenith and boarded with Suite guests.
  8. I might be mistaken but I thought the Zenith perk of an Aqua cabin was only when reaching double Zenith.
  9. **UPDATE** Thank you to everyone who provided me with information about expectations once reaching Zenith. I received a call from the Shoreside Retreat Concierge a couple weeks ago congratulating us on reaching Zenith. The call was followed up with us receiving a Zenith box in the mail yesterday. And I received an email from Shoreside asking about any requests needed for our upcoming Mardi Gras cruise on the Constellation next week. We also booked our free cruise on the Apex for February, 2025. Everything seemed to go pretty smooth.🙂
  10. First, I am so sorry you came down with Covid on your cruise. There's nothing worse than getting sick while on vacation. I hope you're beginning to feel much better. I'm also happy to hear that Celebrity stepped up and made your situation as stress-free as possible. Sounds like they handled it very well and were proactive in reimbursing you for the days you were in isolation.
  11. Hi SSCruiser, It is at the top of the spiral stairs. It can be a little tricky to find at first but for the men's sauna and locker room there is an open doorway just to the right of the stairs and across from the Persian Gardens.
  12. There are no free sauna or steam rooms on the Ascent or on any of the E Class ships (Edge, Apex, Beyond). You will find sauna and steam facilities as part of the Thermal Suite which is coed and has a charge to enter.
  13. The only refurbishments on Celebrity ships that affected the men's locker room sauna were on the M Class ships (only the Summit and Millennium were affected). Any refurbishments that S Class ships had did not affect the saunas.
  14. Seems to me the issues are with the E Class ships that have been lengthened and widened (Beyond, Ascent). We didn't experience any noises while on the Edge. Haven't heard of these issues on Edge or Apex but maybe someone else who might have can chime in.
  15. The spreadsheet is pretty much up to date. No physical changes have been made to the free men's sauna area. Still 3-4 showers (don't remember exactly how many), small changing area with lockers, dry sauna (no steam) hold maybe 6 guys comfortably. I was just on Reflection last year.
  16. Hopefully, the stateside engineers will be onboard or, if not, the shipside engineers should be proactive if any cabins need attention. Our cruise was last February so I was surprised Moby Jones, who is currently on Beyond, stated that they still have shoreside engineers onboard addressing the issues. You may be lucky and not have any noise at all. Not every cabin is experiencing the issues we had. Just keep the earplugs close by but having to use them is certainly not a way to a cruise.
  17. That is just what happened with us on Beyond last February. We were in a MC Sky Suite. Our butler heard all the banging and popping when we pointed it out to her. There was a shoreside engineering team onboard who's job it was to go around and fix the affected cabins. They spent around 4 hours tearing the ceiling apart around all the walls, adding rubber into the joints where the ceiling and walls meet and drilled an additional 8-10 screws into the frame around the door. There was also, what sounded like a bowling ball, rolling back and forth within one of the walls but the team couldn't do anything about that since it was within the wall. Thank goodness we were out that day because our butler told us the room was a mess since she also spent most of her time in our cabin while they were working on it. The room was much quieter after they finished.
  18. Michaels is likely not as warm and welcoming because we're not there with you 😄. On a more serious note, yes, Michelle was the best and always had such a nice smile. Hope the rest of your cruise is great, Luminae, the ship and ports.
  19. I am right there with you. I only found out by taking the test after not being able to sleep all night. I thought it was out of the ordinary. So, it kept us from flying home from Europe to the US, only ours was in the spring of 2022 just 3 weeks before the 10 day period was lifted.
  20. Sheila & Jim, We are so sorry to hear about your terrible embarkation. Hopefully, your cruise is going along perfectly and you both are having an amazing time!!
  21. Thanks again, Jim. I sent you an email.
  22. Verizon, thanks for the information. I don't think we'll feel bad if not recognized on our cruise next month. It would be nice but no big deal, if not. I'm more concerned with arranging the free cruise before the selection dwindles down as time goes on. And congratulations on being a Double Zenith!!! That's quite an achievement!!
  23. 👍 A very tiny thumbs-up 😄
