Has anyone booked a cabin near the elevators? We have been upgraded from DV6 - DV2, but it is next to elevator on Deck 6. #6063 Should we be concerned with noise level?

Because there was no set time given, I figured I’d keep checking all day. I was up at 6:30, so I tried and got in… although all my preferred slots were taken for the preferred days. I just book one of each just to have… we may check menus onboard and reevaluate.

Actually, I went back to check and did find CT for day 2 for 6 pm and Manfredis for Day 9 for 7pm. We will also check CT menu once onboard and cancel if we don’t like. Both were shared tables. On another note… any Bridge players? Maybe a late afternoon or early evening game, anyone?

Good luck fellow cruisers… up at 6:30am and thought I would Try the Viking reservation… nothing left at Manfredis or CT till after 8:30pm. Oh well, not worried, usually can find something once onboard.

Is there a way to see the offerings from Chefs Table menu before actually booking this week for our cruise?

I have always requested a shower chair to have extra safety.

For our 3 previous cruises we did indeed choose our room… but for this time, out TA said we could save $$ by just booking a guaranteed cabin in a particular category,DV, and find out later which cabin we would get, sometimes with an upgrade. We shall see if it was a good decision or not.

We have booked our 4th Viking cruise on the Jupiter for Scenic Scandinavia for June, 2023. This is our 1st time choosing to book a DV6 or higher guaranteed cabin. I see that the cruise is sold out, yet we have not been assigned our cabin assignment. When chatting with Viking representative they said our room may not be assigned until we actually check in. My concern is that we will not be able to reserve excursions or dining ahead of time if we don’t know exactly what category room they have assigned us. Does anyone have experience with booking a “guaranteed cabin”? Thoughts or comments? Karen
