  1. We did book our airfare through NCL with the 2nd person flies free promotion, but were told since we are flying in a few days prior to embarkation, NCL's transport to the ship is not included. Only from the ship to the airport
  2. I am looking for any suggestions/recommendations for transportation from the Athens airport to the hotel. Staying at the Grand Hyatt, but I suppose that doesn't really matter. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  3. If you are flying United there is a self test called BinaxNow (Abbott Labs) that they will accept. The only downside I see is you have to purchase 6 of them at a cost of $150. BinaxNOW, NAVICA & United: Book Your Travel Now | Abbott Newsroom. I don't think I need/want 6. There will also be testing at the Athens Airport for around $25. If I choose the latter, I hope my itinerary will allow for time to do the testing. My understanding is that by taking advantage of NCL's 2nd guest flies free promotion, they won't book my flight until 45-60 days before my departure.

  5. Thank you. I did find something on the Athens Airport's website about getting a test. I am not really sure how much time we will have before boarding the flight since we haven't received the detailed flight itinerary yet, but hopefully it will allow us to get a Rapid Test. I probably will check into the BinaxNow that you mentioned, as I would really rather not wait until my arrival at the airport. I really appreciate the info .
  6. So, I think I have found the answer and maybe it will be helpful to others. According to info I found on Athens International Airport's website: Is there a facility for diagnostic tests for SARS-COV-2 (Covid-19) at the airport premises? Can I take a diagnostic test at the airport premises?  Kindly be advised of the availability to perform diagnostic test for SARS-COV-2 (Covid-19) at Athens airport, at the specially configured testing point of Athens Medical Center, located on the Arrivals level, between exits 2 and 3. Both types of test can be performed, molecular based (PCR
  7. I spoke with NCL this morning and she told me that it was included and told me to go to: www.NCL.com/sail-safe to see it addressed. I checked and could not find anything about it prior to disembarkation, only prior to boarding. I will check with my TA on Monday, but thought I might get some feedback on here.
  8. I am booked on a Greek Isle cruise on NCL out of Athens in October, but have some concerns about returning to the US. I saw an article from the CDC that airlines will require a negative Covid test no more than 3 days prior to returning to the US. I am flying into Athens 3 days prior to embarkation, but plan to head to the airport to fly home on debarkation day. Does anyone know if this is something I can get on the ship? Thanks!
