  1. Yep. This is generally the case. That said, when they went from 40% off to 50% in November, I had across the board price reductions. I had a $1500 total price reduction across eight future bookings. Other than that, I've never seen a change to the sales make any meaningful difference.
  2. It's good to hear a positive POA review. We heard several "horror" stories, and then mostly silence. Silence is generally good because folks are a whole lot more likely to post about negative experiences than normal experiences.
  3. Welcome, but you're just a bit over 3 months too soon. 😎
  4. Of course not. Your post suggests that you already know the answer.
  5. You sure seem to hear a lot more than the rest of us. 💩
  6. Offend? Actually it amused me. Are you now done amusing me? 🤣 (or will there be more name calling?)
  7. Well, the entire cruise industry did just emerge from being shut down for over a year. It's a minor miracle that they even survived, and if they are ever to regain financial strength it is bound to require some unpopular changes. The reason that NCL can "get away with this" is because their competition is all likely in the same boat ( 🤣 ).
  8. I haven't a clue what you are talking about. Drama? You must be confusing me with somebody else. I'm the most laid-back poster on this sub-forum. I thoroughly enjoy each and every cruise and I don't b$&ch about anything, unlike many others. Do you have a link to the contrary? Yeah, I didn't think so....
  9. When we stay at a hotel with sofa sleeper, we've always had to pull it out at night. Takes about 1 minute. Are the convertible beds on a ship more difficult? I've never used one.
  10. This would be true if the evening "service" required the same time/effort as the morning service. It does not.
  11. Give it another five years and we'll hear about how NCL is leading the way, adding a nightly turndown service that the other guys don't provide. The industry is hurting and struggling first with Covid and now recession. At least they're sailing again.😎
  12. Just curious. What do you spend money on when on GSC? I got free food and free drinks and just lounged around the beach.😎 That's why I love GSC so much!
  13. This is correct, but I was responding to your comment regarding specialty dining venues (the MDR is not in that group).
  14. Just to play it safe, why not make your go-to drinks "whatever and ice?"😎
  15. Five are in 2023 and we'll likely actually sail on two to four of them. The rest are in 2024 - 2025 and several are just placeholders. NCL hasn't released the 2025 itineraries for most of their smaller ships. None are concurrent. I tend to book insides as a baseline and revisit if when prices change. I do have several B2B bookings where booking early maximizes your chances of having the same desirable room on each leg.
  16. Thanks. Both are listed on the TSA website: Credit Cards and Loyalty Programs featuring TSA PreCheck® | Transportation Security Administration I don't have any cards on that list.😡
  17. Let the reader beware. Those lists are NOT accurate. It seems to now vary by week and by ship, but we know that Bulleit and Crown are now $16 and thus not fully included in the basic package.
  18. Probably not necessary, but why not? As many others have stated, you can easily cancel and quickly have your deposit refunded at any time up until the final payment date. Some of us here always have a variety of future NCL bookings as placeholders. I currently have more than ten such bookings. I am constantly amused by folks that wait until later and then claim that "NCL prices have skyrocketed! They are now twice (or fill in your preferred hyperbole) as much as they were a year ago!!" So, why didn't you book a year ago?
  19. Aren't you charged $2000 and then given a $1000 OBC which offsets half the cost? I haven't done this, but this is what I believe I've read here.
  20. I haven't pulled out my CC at any point yet. Would you mind sharing the "brands" of your Chase cards?
  21. Don't all but LeBistro and Ocean Blue already have the same dress code as the Garden Cafe? Yeah, I'll concede that one to you. I'm saving my "sunshine" for the serious dress code threads. Those are the ones where folks are aghast that some would prefer comfort over pleasing the uptight crowd on a FREESTYLE cruise.😃 You know, the ones where people talk about wearing ties and such. That's where I find solid amusement value.😎
