Aren't they exactly the same thing? We've gone to both and made our decisions based upon meaningless things like if somebody else was in front of us or how "crowded" they looked.

What does that have to do with anything? I have not. I, like many others who have expressed concerns with NCL air, have many posts. But again, what does that have to do with anything? Do you really quiz your fellow cruisers on the internet habits? That seems odd. When I cruise, I generally leave the internet behind. That said, this sub-forum is the best resource I have for experienced NCL cruisers, and there are many valuable (experience based) opinions to be leveraged. Sure, you and others can ignore them and just have NCL book those crappy flights that may (or may not) get you to the cruise and home in a reasonable timeframe. I suspect not. Why don't you do just that and share the results?

I have no idea and I won't ever find out. While there are many disagreements on an internet forum, there is largely consensus agreement on this sub-forum. Don't use NCL air and always book your own flight in at least one day prior to the cruise. There is likely still a minority that will ignore this.....at their own risk. I let NCL book my flights on my very first cruise. I made the ship (very late) and our flight home got us here after the sun came up the next morning. Never again.

Please stop. Nobody skips the FAS beverage package and then pays full price for the beverage package. To your point, nothing is really "free". My delta cost is somewhere between "free" and $109 PPPD to drink on the ship, but it ain't $109 per day.

So you'll miss the unlimited beverage package but you won't miss the effects of the unlimited beverage package? I'm not sure what the take away it here....

They don’t. I’m literally sitting in a room at Planet Hollywood as I type this. We have our coffee maker that we brought with us in the car. Fortunately, they now have refrigerators for my beer. 😎

Did I suggest otherwise?? This is where you're wrong my friend. Yes, I often (but not always) sleep and shower in steerage. Why? Because I spend all waking hours having all kinds of fun both on and off the ship and really couldn't care less what surrounds my bed at night. It's not us steerage folks you're thinking of here..... (disclaimer: I've slept in a balcony room my last three cruises, but mainly because they were dirt cheap😎)

Thanks! We rarely charge much of anything onto our onboard account, so it's good to hear that those nuisance charges will be covered. I have been largely asleep at the wheel on this one, but fully plan to have 100 shares of NCLH at least fifteen days prior to our next cruise. We have a lot of cruises planned, and at today's stock prices the stock could drop 50% and we'll still come out ahead. 😎

That is FANTASTIC!!!!!! Earlier I mentioned the 2 percenters. Based on this sampling, I may have been WAY too low. Why aren't more people just rolling around in this stuff having the time of their lives?? Do they think they'll have more fun on their six hour shore excursion looking at ancient rocks?

Our last cruise was on the Joy and we had happy/singing washy-washy at both Buffet entrances. They brought smiles to the faces of about 98% of the passengers. 😎Don't be a two percenter!!!
