  1. Dragging? Is that the secret word?
  2. Yep. They claimed it was something wrong with the piping in the Brewhouse, but I knew the truth. 🤠
  3. They had Guinness on my last cruise on the Encore (before I drank it all). No problem at all!
  4. Alaska is great whenever the ship sails. We were on the Encore to AK last October. It was snowing in Glacier bay. I had a FANTASTIC time! I live where it is warm and sunny about 95% of the time. I love a bit of real weather.😎
  5. No! You're wrong!! We CAN'T argue about anything.🤣
  6. I believe that this is the thread that my good buddy @CptAleSpillwas referring to:
  7. I'm pretty sure that everybody here already knows this.
  8. It's been like that for years. Many, many flights. Never a problem. I used to book my own travel at Megacorp, and our booking system only transferred a middle initial to the airlines. That was never a problem. That's why I posted about this. I looked into it years ago, and actually found something on the TSA website confirming that it didn't matter. No, I don't have a link but I imagine if somebody was really concerned that they could find it as well. To your point, I also have my middle name properly documented on real ID license, passport, etc. It's just that travel companies don't do a good/consistent job with middle names, so TSA, etc. doesn't seem to require them. YMMV.
  9. Southwest Airlines does NOT require a middle name on a ticket purchase.
  10. Why would I need to have my non-controlled Rx in the original container? Has this been a problem for anybody?
  11. Why didn't your NCL reservation name match your passport? I'm assuming that we aren't talking middle names/initials, which have been a (non)issue for years.
  12. Doesn't that shorten your cruise fun by several hours? I'm confused.
  13. Nice! I don't know which I like better. Ice Cream or the Great Outdoors on the Pearl. 😎
  14. You're past my pay grade, but if somebody flavors my whiskey they are asking for "trouble." Are those others on the radar on a cruise ship? I know that Bulleit is and it used to not have an upcharge. DW is likely happy that it does now. 🤣
  15. That's interesting! I may try that someday.
  16. Excellent idea. I'll keep that in mind. Still hoping to hear more experiences of others.
  17. I'm confused. You don't like Bulleit? I'm guessing that the "included" would be Jim Beam, but you really don't want that, do you? Jack Daniels is included, but that's not legally Kentucky Bourbon as I understand it.
  18. I believe that Bulleit has also gone to the $16 level. Just take the FAS drink package, order your fine bourbon and enjoy life. Nowhere else are people on vacation so concerned about that single extra dollar.
  19. I have my vaccination card and both NCL and Canada have clearly stated that I don't need to take a test to cruise to Canada. If something is wrong in that equation, I'll just pay for a test at the Port. If I were to call NCL, there's a chance I would get the new guy and be told that I need to test (despite what is clearly stated in writing by both Canada and NCL). Would I get tested? No.
