Well isn’t that an interesting piece of information. Princess Cruises = consistently inconsistent!

Someone on the Princess boards posted a photo of your ship in port today from their hotel window.

That’s the great thing about CC is getting notified when things open up or are changed. Congratulations on getting a reservation for Spellbound! We have it booked in November as we were able to book a few weeks ago when they opened reservations for a short window of time. We also got our reservation because of other people posting on CC.

My wish list is short……no smoking anywhere indoors on the ships! Move all smoking to designated areas that are outside on the open decks. We just went on our first Celebrity cruise and booked another before we got off the ship. We love that their ships only allow smoking outside. If Princess continues to allow smoking in their casinos, which of course then permeates the air outside the casino, I can see our dollars and loyalty moving over to Celebrity.

Thank you for your kind wish! You are correct. We don’t mind dressing up. DH is happy to wear a Sports Jacket or Blazer on the plane as he’s always cold so it keeps him warm…win, win. He also doesn’t mind wearing a jacket on the ship as again it’s usually cold for him. Plus he has a great, tasteful, Beatles tie he loves to wear on the cruise and it always sparks conversations with people around us. We will be on the ship for 2 weeks so we will have other opportunities to wear our dress up clothes, and we enjoy it since we rarely do it at home anymore. While this experience won’t be for everyone it is perfect for us and our friends.

I agree! I’m still very excited about Spellbound as I don’t really care about the dinner. I’d be fine with a burger and fries. For me this experience is about the drinks, the Magic Castle inspired rooms and the close up magic. I’m hoping between our party of 4 we will try all 12 drinks (sharing of course, no judgement please). I think they look amazing! I will most likely never be invited to the Magic Castle and as someone who has been fascinated by it since childhood I can’t wait to have a similar experience!!!

I’m sure going to miss this place when we go back to Maui next year. It was always so much fun!

Were they able to see that you had prepaid or did you have documentation to show them how much you paid?

Thanks. I found it and it does say Spellbound. Taking a screenshot just in case it disappears.

This is what is showing in my app. It shows the correct reservation time of 5 pm but nothing about Spellbound. I think we all need to keep checking the app and report back when anyone can see Spellbound showing up in the app again.

It’s been posted on another thread that dining reservations on the Sun are only available for cruises through 5/31. They should extend this date shortly so you just need to keep checking.

It’s not in my app anymore either but my reservation still shows on my calendar in the app.

Spellbound is now open for reservations! The times available in the app under dining are 5, 6:30 and 8. It appears reservations are open at least through the end of the year as I was able to book a reservation for a cruise in November. I’m so looking forward to this magical experience!!!!!
