I never used to touch anything spicy till a couple of years ago like you the smell put me of it but really enjoy it now. I’d give the Beach House a try on here it’s a totally different animal than on Azura far superior. As I told Selbourne the MDR food is a great improvement on the grand voyage as well it’s a shame you don’t like Sindhu either we had the tiffin lunch yesterday and that was excellent as well

The A/C is working in the crows nest this time Selbourne we haven’t had any issues with it anywhere yet and the foods a great improvement as well so far no complaints from us but I think like you SausPud is living in cloud cuckoo land if he thinks that Aurora and Arcadia will be in service for more than a couple of years from now

Did you notice if they’re still selling it with 2 full days in Helsinki? According to new itinerary it’s now an afternoon arrival

Has anybody noticed on the new itinerary it says we don’t arrive in Helsinki till the afternoon? We haven’t had anything yet so unsure what’s going on

We did a similar itinerary last year but no night stops and missed our last two ports Skagen and Copenhagen because of weather and went to Cherbourg instead. We’ve no excursions booked but planning on doing a boat trip in Helsinki a lot cheaper than P&Os one and providing the weather is better than last year. Visby is lovely just to walk around as is Tallinn although the weather wasn’t brilliant there either, like you say hopefully we’ll enjoy wherever and whenever we go.

Don’t get too excited about Tallinn if it’s the same as the last cruise they just sailed from Helsinki at 1900 arrived at Tallinn at 2300 so don’t think there’ll be much to do that time of night, not sure what’ll happen in Aarhus

They won’t be getting restocked just using them up I think

No more Jam shed on P&O

I didn’t take much notice of our upgrade offer but I think they wanted £1160 for the deluxe balcony. On the 65 nighter we were in a sea view which I think you are for this one and the minimum bids for a deluxe balcony were double the ones offered to our friends in an inside cabin so I’ve no idea how they work it out

We paid £2932 with £340 OBC in September last year for PB grade inside on this one MB

Won’t be any problems with us in August MB🤦‍♂️😂

You stated in a previous post about people taking opened bottles from the dining rooms which they do and is fair enough but the giveaway is the people bringing full bottles which have quite obviously been used several times before I.e. well stained to the bars several nights on the run and shouting at the staff when they try to remove the empty bottle because they’re taking it home as a souvenir 🤷‍♂️😂

It definitely wasn’t newbies on Auroras 65 nighter doing it all old school on there even to the extent of checking the wine bottles for dregs at our Ligurian do in Barbados and filling empty bottles brought from the ship to bring back to the ship and they were still carrying them into the bars onboard days later telling the waiters it was leftovers from lunchtime. This is as well as others openly pouring drinks into glasses of tonic water and other mixers
