The April 30th cruise was cancelled to accommodate the dry dock. 

There have been a few posts from people on board in the March 26 Roll Call forum. You might have some success if you ask there. Sounds like they missed two ports already, Gibraltar (went to Malaga instead) and Livorno (went directly from Genoa to Civitavecchia?).  

They say here in Canada we’re heading for wave #6. Seems like a good reason to me to keep wearing masks, especially in crowded tight quarters like a cruise ship. 

Please correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that when on the ship you will still use the medallion to pay for drinks etc.  This functionality would not require a cellphone. 

There seems to be conflicting information from Princess about the timing of the test. Further down on the health protocols page it says:

• A specimen collection date 2 days or less before cruise departure

This is in the FAQ under the question “What is acceptable proof of my negative COVID-19 test result?”  Would be nice to know which is correct; one day or two?

We are departing from Barcelona but flying in three days in advance so we will have to arrange for a test there.  There are clinics in the city that will do it for €29. 

We are booked on a Mediterranean cruise in May 2022. I am not concerned about trip cancellation insurance, but as far as the medical insurance goes when should I be purchasing it? Is it OK to delay the purchase until right before the cruise or should I be looking at it now?

I’ve seen others post pictures of the bar menu from current cruises. Would this differ dramatically for a Mediterranean cruise this summer? Would they have the same beers or would they tend to offer more European brands?

Thanks for posting this, is it safe to assume that the drinks list is consistent from ship to ship?  We’re on a Mediterranean cruise in May and wondering if they’ll have some North American brands or just European?  Hoping for a nice hoppy IPA. 

It took numerous tries for me to upload my passport and I still can’t upload our profile pictures, I get a similar error message as you. Seems the Medallion app needs a lot of work. It’s not a good experience at all. 

If I have the premier beverage package do drinks ordered during specialty dining count toward the 15 per day limit? Or does what you pay for the specialty dining include the drinks consumed during that meal?
